Decided to try this after reading the rave reviews, but it just didnt work well for me. It doesnt cut smoothly, so its easy to cut yourself on one of the fine wires sticking out. And its pricier than Acuflex.

Choosing the correct wire for your projects is as important as making sure you build the correct foundation for your house. The higher the wire count the stronger your wire will be and the more flexible your piece will be. I enjoy making higher end pieces and formal jewelry so work with leaded crystal, stone, glass, and metals so I opt for the higher strand count, smaller diameter, and coated wire. The Beadalon Stringing Wire 49-Strand fits my needs perfectly. I only wish I could buy a larger bulk quantity at a lower price but for the quality of the product the price is completely reasonable and in line when compared to ways of getting it. If you are just starting out making jewelry or if you have been making it a while this wire will work perfect for you. It is flexible, strong, and doesnt harm your beads or skin.

This product has great quality and durability. I use it for necklaces and it looks like it will hold up for as long as someone would wear the necklace. Like how the package keeps track of the wire too, so it doesnt unwind.

I use this wire to make two crafts with the heavier one being a suncatcher made of a 30mm prism and between 10-15 lampwork beads with gemstone beads in the middle. This wire has no problem holding all of that weight without fraying. It is exceptionally flexible which allows my suncatchers to dangle freely. I previously used 19 strand wire and the flexibility of this wire is considerably noticeable. The coating on this wire also makes stringing beads a breeze. I have been using the Beadalon Bright wire for a couple of years now exclusively. It is better than than any other brand at a fraction of the cost. The .018 is perfect for my project as well as necklaces and bracelets. It is non-tarnishing and in my opinion a great alternative to authentic silver wire.

BEST NECKLACE STRING! I love that they are little wires wrapped into one. My daughters chunky necklaces seemed to break all the time. I purchased this and re-strung them all. I havent had one of them break! SUPER STURDY and very strong!
