I love BeaverCraft for their knives that are ready to go out of the box. They hold their edge with minimum stropping needed. This one will be for a child learning how to carve but I have high hopes it will hold up to abuse.

Purchased for nine year old grandson who just started whittling/carving in Boy Scouts. It’s easy for him to hold and works well, it’s a great beginners carving knife. We also purchased a protective glove for him to ensure safety

This knife came ready to use, and will bring hours of enjoyment to me and my grandson!!!

This handle just feels great. Holding the knife while whittling is very easy with this knife. I use this one 90% of the time. The blade is staying sharpe.

Did not come with case as pictured. Also straight end not rounded as pictured.

Good quality for anyone and the perfect size for children learning or anyone with small hands.

Wonderful knife for kids and beginners. I purchased 3 to compare before giving one to my son for a scouts campout. Honestly all three knives I purchased were great, but I ended up keeping this one for him for two reasons. First, it has a guard so little hands cant slip forward and get cut. Second, it is sharp but too sharp. Others I looked at were high quality from switzerland and although they were great products they were so incredibly sharp that I couldnt in good conscience give to my son. He could have really injured himself.

Nice starter knife. Comes sharp and ready to use.....great size for small hands.

My boys loved their camping knifes!! Love that they are flat on the tip so no risk there. I even loved carving some wood sticks!! They were entertained for hours . We got them for our camping trips and are going to last !! You do need to be careful because they are sharp but under supervision they are great.
