Greater than one weekBeavis and Butthead will probably stand as one of the classic high-points of animation comedy. Everyone likes to think of The Simpsons as the cartoon that pushed the envelope, but I think Beavis and Butthead will be the one that many animators cite for having the greatest effect on them (Adult Swim anyone). That said, Beavis and Butthead, Vol. 1 - The Mike Judge Collection is great way to relive those classic Beavis and Butthead moments and to understand why the show was such a monumental piece of TV. Each segment is rewatchable, and never seems to get old at all, and you get so many that will take many viewings to watch them all, anyway. In many ways, I wish the Adult Swim people would take note of this instead of rushing out all the volumes of their shows. Moreover there are not a lot of extras to take away from the experience. There is only one creation documentary, so you can bet most of the money you spend goes to actual episodes, and not to superfluous extras. However, I was very disappointed to learn that there are only eleven video commentaries in the entire package. This, I thought, was one of the funniest things about the entire cartoon. I greatly miss them ripping up truly bad videos, and I wish Mike Judge chooses to add more of them next time, along with the option to view them in context of the cartoons. All-in-all, this is definitely a great box-set, and one you will enjoy greatly.

> 3 dayThis came in great condition. Played perfectly, the case and cover are in great shape. Many people complain about these videos not being as good as the Originals because they do not have the music videos and B&B commentaries going on through them. Honestly, I have watched the true B&B videos on line and I find them to be fair episodes. But not great. The music videos take so much from the short stories that they are telling that is wrenches me out of the episode. What he has done is removed the music videos and edited the stories to be full coherent ones. I like that. Sure, some of their comments during the music videos are funny. And seeing the music videos takes me back. But when I am trying to enjoy Beavis and Butt-Head themselves...well. So, I love these videos. I just wish that Mike Judge would do this same thing with all of the episodes produced (It would be nice if he could do one that has been unedited for the purists, too. but trying to get the legal rights to every single music video from his series is a legal nightmare. But I think that he would do well releasing all of his B&B episodes for us).

> 3 dayIf you are a Beavis and Butt-Head fan, you must buy this DVD. Some reviewers dont like the omissions of the boys watching MTV, but thats not where the comedy is. I recommend it.

> 3 dayWell, hard to believe, I actually think of this show as retro. I MUST be getting old! Ever see a movie, when you were a kid, and remember it as the most awesome, funniest, greatest move, show, or whatever, in the world? Well, thats not how I remember this show. Not to mention, I wasnt a kid, I was in my 20s or so. But I did remember this show being fairly hilarious! Not so, this viewing. I actually thought it was a show that was 1/2 hour (23 minutes with commercials) but actually this is a collection of 25 or so small nibbles of sound and bodily function jokes. Yes, it is hilarious, yes, it made me laugh, but it wasnt the way I remember laughing. I will say this: this is certainly the best formula for the PSP. And it hits the right audience. 15 - 25 year olds, who love to laugh at silly little shows. And in small, bite size pieces, which can be consumed in short wait times. Wow! What a great UMD in that frame of reference. I recommend this if you are under 25, and male. And own a PSP. Other than that, pass on this one. MC White said: Its aiight!

> 3 dayJust as annoying and funny as you remember! Remember those little hidden jokes?! No? Good, because there isnt any. No thinking. No wondering what it all really meant. Just a couple of hormonal Ids wondering around reacting to their environment. Their environment was not made up of the Internet. Their environment was interacting with real people who kick their rear ends when they act stupid. No hidding behind a qwerty for these idiots. On second thought, thank goodness for the Internet. I wont be getting my rear kicked anymore!
