> 3 dayWell, hard to believe, I actually think of this show as retro. I MUST be getting old! Ever see a movie, when you were a kid, and remember it as the most awesome, funniest, greatest move, show, or whatever, in the world? Well, thats not how I remember this show. Not to mention, I wasnt a kid, I was in my 20s or so. But I did remember this show being fairly hilarious! Not so, this viewing. I actually thought it was a show that was 1/2 hour (23 minutes with commercials) but actually this is a collection of 25 or so small nibbles of sound and bodily function jokes. Yes, it is hilarious, yes, it made me laugh, but it wasnt the way I remember laughing. I will say this: this is certainly the best formula for the PSP. And it hits the right audience. 15 - 25 year olds, who love to laugh at silly little shows. And in small, bite size pieces, which can be consumed in short wait times. Wow! What a great UMD in that frame of reference. I recommend this if you are under 25, and male. And own a PSP. Other than that, pass on this one. MC White said: Its aiight!

> 3 dayI have to add my name to the list of fans who really wants the series released in a season-by-season format. While it is true that Beavis & Butt-head, Vol. 1 - The Mike Judge Collection generally does consist of the best episodes from the series, it is also true that some of the shows have been edited, which detracts from them as they originally aired. While most of the editing is very minor, some is more obvious, and appears to have been done in a fawning attempt at political correctness, as if that is conceivable when dealing with Beavis and Butt-head. I really wanted to like this set, but I can only give it two stars based on two primary factors: first, the editing; and second, the painful advertisements at the beginning of the discs. These are very long, very obnoxious advertisements at the beginning of the discs that are for products I would never conceivably be interested in, and which cannot be skipped. Its bad enough that the ads are there in the first place, but to force the viewer to watch them after paying good money for the DVD set is onerous. On the positive side, though, there are some extras that most people will not have in their collections, which is a genuine bonus. While it is good to finally see these come out on DVD (although I am glad I hung onto my VHS copies) this could have been so much better than it is. I give it two stars for the two stars, Beavis and Butt-head, but deduct the other three possible stars due to the obnoxious packaging and alterations.

> 3 dayIt is true these episodes are heavy edited specially when they are doing their music video views, but this only cost me $5. I feel overall I got more than $5 worth of laughs from this video collection. Just watching some of these crazy characters brings back memories.

> 3 dayI know all about the cuts on this dvd, but that doesnt take anything away from how awesome they are. Every episode is top notch. Ive owned the uncut versions of some of these episodes, but they are still hilarious. This dvd is the bees mother ******* knees. The only problem I had was the fact that my set was not a box set, but a regular plastic case. That case is still pretty cool though. I totally recommend this to the biggest fans and the newer ones.
