> 3 dayThis is a great puzzle. It is not easy. It takes work for my 3 year old to do it. Heck, it even took me a minute the first time it got dumped and I had to put it back together. But, each time we do it, it is a 20 minute event. We talk about each animal and the letter, plus she works at getting it to go together. It is very well-made, too. I also love how it has capital letters on one side and lower case letters on the other. The only thing that drives me nuts is that as you go through the puzzle, A touches B, B touches C, C touches D...all the way until you get to X. X doesnt touch Y, but then Y touches Z. I wish they would have just kept the them of each subsequent letter touching the next through the entire alphabet. Not a big deal - just small annoyance. Some people have also noted that some of the shapes of the animals are weird. Yes, thats true, but my 3 year old doesnt complain about it, so neither do I!

> 3 dayI purchased 2 of these for young nephews, one aged 18 months, the other nearly 3. They both enjoy it immensely, but of course play differently. The little one is mainly interested in playing with the separate pieces as animals, not interested in putting them together as a puzzle. The 3 year old also loves it and is beginning to recognize letters and is making an effort to put the pieces together. A toy that can keep a childs interest as they grow is always a good value and a good gift.

> 3 dayGreat puzzle, did good with a q for quail! The boy I got it for has a dad in charge of a quail program for a university, however, n? For nightingale??, with a foul that looks like a duck? I could kind of understand had it been at least even painted the color of one, or at least had all animals, not X-rays and unicorns! Great puzzle though to parents , who notice these things:) was a lovely gift!

> 3 dayThis puzzle is made of wood and very sturdy. The cool thing is that on one side of each piece are uppercase letters and the other side are all lower case, so you can arrange the puzzle going right to left or left to right. Hence, “BeginAgain”.

> 3 dayI found this at a Barnes and Nobles years ago and have bought several as gifts for relatives and my daughters and sons friends. Sturdy, colorful, cute. The kids enjoy playing with it and learning their letters. Its beautiful and cheerful enough to kept for a long time, displayed on a shelf, and taken down to play with when a little kid visits.

20-11-2024My son watches a YouTube video of someone putting this puzzle together, so I surprised him with one of his own. Def well worth it. Melissa and Doug type construction.. thick block peices. And keep in mind this is a larger puzzle, litterally about 2 ft. Long.
