BeginAgain Animal Parade A to Z Puzzle and Playset - Educational Wooden Alphabet Puzzle - 2 and Up

Play and Learn
> 3 dayOne of the best toys purchased this Christmas. Pros: Its a puzzle for older kids - 4 and up could probably manage to put this together. Ive seen several other puzzles similar to this where you try to put the pieces together in a box and you have to rely on the picture they give you. Here you can use the alphabet as a guide so it teaches or reinforces the alphabet. I put this puzzle together and it was fun for an adult as well. Two puzzles in one - one side is puzzle for upper case and the other side is a puzzle for lower case alphabet. Its a stand up toy for playing make believe. My kids have used these puzzle pieces to act out different things - being a vet, living on a farm, being a teacher and showing the kids things on a farm. The pieces are made from wood. Wood is sanded down so there are no rough edges. Paint does not chip off. Pieces are brightly colored. There is a storage container. Although the container itself is this long box that doesnt really fit anywhere so we have to slide it under the sofa for now. Cons: A few of the pieces are small enough that I would not feel comfortable leaving my toddler alone with this. The toy isnt for him but hes in the house.

> 3 dayWhat is great about this puzzle is the animals stand up and you can do the puzzle flat or standing up. Very colorful! I love that it is a wood puzzle

> 3 dayX is for xray fish and N is for nightingale, except the nightingale is painted yellow like a duck. I can excuse the lack of an X family of animal, but at least paint the nightingale with the right colors. Or use a newt instead. Also, the pig looks more like a pink dog. Still, the puzzle is cute, and well made.

Greater than one weekYes i do love this puzzle for my grandson. We adults all took turns trying to figure out the animals. Got stumped in N for nightingale. Hoping my grandson will stick with it as he cant figure it out yet at age 2. I may trace the shapes with a soft pencil to help for now. Also planning to glue the list on the back for future reference.

> 3 dayMy son saw this on a YouTube video and had to have it. I was a little upset it cost so much but you can tell someone made this to last. The paint is still intact with a teething baby stealing pieces whenever he can.

> 3 dayMy niece is only 2 1/2, but I gave her the 1-10 numbered snail for her 2nd birthday, and she figured that out quickly. She loves this one, and although she knows her ABCs, she is still working on figuring out how to put this together. She doesnt quite get that lower case and upper case make a difference. It actually is a challenging puzzle to put together anyway, even with a picture to look at. Overall, I think shell get a few good years of use out of this. I just wish it had a lid for the box.

Greater than one weekWe were disappointed in this puzzle. The animals are cute enough, even if you have to stretch your imagination to allow the animal to be the shape that they have made it, but what was annoying was the packaging and quality. The paint on the pieces seems thin and prone to chipping. At least one piece was smudged. I did like that both sides of the pieces were painted, but I would have expected them to be anyway, based on similar puzzles of this type. It comes in a long shallow wooden box, which helps younger kids build the puzzle by containing it while they work, but there is no lid for it, so all the pieces just fall out when stored. Similar puzzles we have bought by other companies have had a slide-on clear plastic lid that keeps all of the pieces in place. Also, there is a picture of the puzzle as it looks when assembled (also helpful for younger kids), and it says how many pieces there are etc, but the paper is just loose rather than attached to the inside or the back of the box. In the end, had to find something else to store the pieces in. This wouldnt be a big deal, except that I also feel like I have to keep the original wooden box so my toddler can use it when building the puzzle. If this were the only puzzle of its kind I had ever purchased, I might be perfectly happy, but comparing it to others of a similar nature, it leaves a bit to be desired.

24-04-2025This was bought for a 4 yr old and kids as old as 60+ are fascinated with it. The alphabet on it is really nice but this 3D puzzle get so many parts of the brain working with hands involved. Puzzle is very sturdy and superior quality for the price. One side has upper case letters while other side has lower case so when kids claim its so easy now flip it over and put it together backwards :) Kids love it and gladly accept the challenge. Awesome buy!
