Greater than one weekWe graduated our daughter from the 4 wheel radio flyer scooter to this 3 wheel gem. She took to it immediately and even felt confident enough to stand on the scooter and balance her body weight. The scooter was also easy for her to turn on which is important. For NYC where the streets and sidewalks are unpredictable the wheels on this scooter are thick and can handle bumps and uneven ground/pavement very well. All in all I am glad we didnt spend top dollar and took all the great reviews for this brand to heart and made the purchase. I am even looking into an adult scooter for myself now! :) Enjoy!!

Greater than one weekIt look pretty and it works good. I don’t like how hard it is to turn. You kinda have to balance to turn and my 4 year old girl has a hard time doing it. Im thinking to return it but she really likes it because is pink haha.

Greater than one weekWe did a lot of research before purchasing this scooter. Now that we have it, we know that this purchase was a good one. We purchased two from the same company for two different aged granddaughters. This one was purchased for a 3 year old girl. The scooter came quickly, and was simple to put together. She went out with her sister going down the street laughing lets get away from mom. She just loves how easy this was for her to glide. It leans one way and then the other, but does not allow her to make turns as easily as some other scooters, which is more stable for her. It also has two wheels in the back for more stability, and has a larger deck for her feet. The colors really light up on the wheels, and she just loves that part. We were more interested in the stability, which this one is.

> 3 dayUpdated review: after just a few weeks of use, both scooters I purchased started to fall apart in different ways. One scooters brake mechanism broke off. The other scooters brake wore down the wheel quickly. The handle bar post lock on that same scooter stopped working. And there were other issues too. Im really disappointed that they feel apart so quickly with regular ol kid use. Original review: Purchased this product after the volume of positive ratings. It did not disappoint! It assembled in under a minute and the kids were out scooting about five minutes after they arrived. They spent most of the day outside after that. I got the version with a seat for both my preschooler and bigger kid and they both love the feature. And the lights in the wheels are magical.

> 3 dayUPDATE: The scooters are still a good buy but the customer service is strange. I bought two two scooters and they come with a free gift. You have to post a review and send them a screenshot. The first one shipped from CA and is a good helmet. The second one never arrived after 12 emails over 26 days and a useless tracking # that stopped working after the package left China. Now they tell me they can look into it….next month when their vacation is over. Is this how it will be when it is time to order replacement parts? I hope they fix it but I’ve stopped telling my granddaughter she is getting a cute backpack. ORIGINAL FIVE STAR: There is basically no assembly required, just some adjustments. It collapses into a sturdy box with a plastic handle that you could use for vacation travel, shipping, or long term storage. Owners manual is easy to understand, informative, and worth saving. The parts are interchangeable so if you break a piece you can buy a replacement. The handle bars have three height adjustments. It has a foot brake and every wheel lights up when it spins. There is a free gift, too. They will send you either a free helmet or a free backpack (maybe for the handlebars?). Not sure of the size or quality of either but its free. The kids love the scooters and we go to the park with paved paths. So far a very satisfying experience. p.s. You should know that the front wheels do not turn by twisting the handle bar. The turn by leaning your weight a tiny bit. At first the 4 year old was going in a straight line, getting off, and starting over in a new direction. But within a half hour of play she got the hang of it. The turning radius is large so you have to start leaning early. No turning on a dime but this meant she has yet to fall off.

> 3 dayWe are super happy with our sturdy and adorable scooters. We get compliments wherever we take them because you can’t miss the adorable lights - day or night. I even had a mom stop me the other day to say she owns them too and that her kids love them. They’re easy to disassemble so you can travel with them. My kids have cerebral palsy and gait instability and feel low enough to the ground to feel safe. These things go fast and are sensitive to the touch but they have grown super confident due to the build of the scooter, love the smooth turn feature, can easily use the brake and truly love their scooters. You won’t regret this purchase.

> 3 dayThis scooter was easy to put together and the seat was easily able to come off, as my daughter (age 5) didnt need it. My daughter was apprehensive at first as she had a couple of spills on her old scooter, but after an 20 minutes on this one she was scooting like a pro. The balance to turn instead of a turning handlebar quickly gave her confidence and once she learned the breaking, I was running to keep up. And the light up wheels made her eyes do the same. I love the fact that each part is easily replaced and only requires a single hex wrench. A lot of thought went into its design and I am incredibly happy with the purchase. The customer service has also been wonderful just in the short time we have had it.

> 3 dayBoth of my kids (5y/o and 2.5 y/o) LOVE these scooters. I would definitely recommend colors made similar to the handle bars on the blue one…one sturdy piece. Versus, the red handles no longer stay tight and makes it hard to lean/steer for the bars are constantly turning.

> 3 dayI bought this for my daughters 3rd birthday. She LOVES this scooter. Im still trying to get her to watch where shes going because shes fascinated by the light up wheels. She only wants to watch the wheels light up, and they only light up when the scooter has certain pressure and speed applied. Its easy enough to put together and it is adjustable as noted. The base is sturdy and close to the ground. Sidewalk fluctuations scrape against the bottom and sometimes cause it to get stuck between cuts in the concrete. The handle bars are on the flimsy side. It doesnt really fit snugly and its almost like it gives you a false sense of being able to steer with the handlebars rather than leaning. The break is a neat feature and it works. My child was able to pick up on how to use it by her second go at it. All in all she loves this scooter and the base being closer to the ground makes me feel like its more of a tripping hazard for my husband in the garage than it is a fall hazard for my kid.

> 3 dayI bought two of these scooters. One for my son and one for my daughter. They are 4 and 5 and were outgrowing their “little kid” scooters. I my daughter was set on a pink one with light up wheels. I was looking for a solid scooter with good quality wheels since they do a lot of sidewalk riding. This scooter met all of our expectations and then some! At first I didn’t think they were going to be able to figure out the shifting of the body in order to turn, but this scooter literally turns with body movement. The wheels are a solid rubber and absorb all the bumps they go over. We are having so much fun with these and I would definitely purchase again. The height it perfect and can easily be adjusted.
