Product only accounts for a bullnose with a radius of 3/4 where the transition piece is 5/8. However, rounded corners on my house apparently have a radius of 1/2 so transition piece needed to be 7/16. This threw the math off for both left and right pieces. I ended up using trial and error along with wood putty to fill the gaps. It would have been nice if there was any indication in the description that bullnose corners vary in sizes. This also explained why when I put the trim gauge up to my corners, there were gaps under both sides as they did not sit flush with the corners. I only learned of different bullnose sizes after watching a video showing a cheat sheet. For radius of 1/2, transition piece is 7/16. For radius of 3/4, transition piece is 5/8. For radius of 1, transition piece is 13/16. Finally for radius of 1 1/2, transition piece is 1 1/4.

Marking the corner on a bullnose corner usually takes more hands that I have. awkward. This tool makes it easy.

If you are trimming around bullnose Sheetrock corners, you HAVE TO BUY THIS TOOL! It takes all the guesswork out of creating consistent, accurate beveled corners for either baseboard trim or crown molding. It is so intuitive and easy to use, I don’t know how I ever got along without it. Go to videos on YouTube about how to use it...it is everything those videos say it is AND MORE!

This made it so much easier to measure for my baseboard. Really got my moneys worth.

I did a large flooring project in my house last spring and finished all the baseboards except my master bedrroom. I just got tired of doing it. Most of the reason was because I hated the pain of doing the bullnose pieces. I saw this online and decided to give it a whirl. Im glad I did. I finished my baseboards in the master bedroom this weekend and bought my wife a new bedroom set. I seriously took me half the time (if not less) to do the bullnose corners with this tool. Id buy it again and again.

Works perfectly to identify and mark cut lines for trim carpentry around a bullnose. Measurements are accurate.

Simple, effective tool to allow accurate, tight bullnose miter joint cuts at a great price.

If youre doing trim around bullnose, youll want this. Its worth it. My one gripe is not embedding magnets so it could stick to the corner (assuming you have metal corner bead like me). They have little holes for nailing to the wall, but thats ridiculous. Either way, theres not much choice with this type of product and sticking it to the wall isnt that important - so just get it.
