AV gear seems to have a lot of plugs. I had 3 power strips hooked up to feed it all. This one outlet does it all now and I can hit the switch and its all off the grid. No on going power drain running 24/7. I learned about how much power some items draw last year. I had old 60 Sony TV and a Dish Network receiver that I got rid of. The Dish receiver and the old Sony were putting about $15.00 a month on my bill just sitting there sipping away the power waiting to be used. They are gone but I learned to cut things off when not in use. This power strip does that for me now.

Needed the long cord length. This has USB chargers built in! Great for the office!!
