I am posting this review after one weeks use: Pros: -Compact size compared to the others offered on Amazon -4 USB charging ports with covers -Strategic spacing on the 8 outlets -Sturdy and heavy duty cord -Choice of 3 colors Cons: -Bit pricy I cannot speak for the surge protection as I have yet to encounter a situation that would activate it. I am very happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayI needed a power strip with USB charging ports too. This Power strip is very well built. It has 8 outlets, 2 of which are spread out to accommodate transformer plugs. The outlets are very tight, so you wont have to worry about the plugs coming loose. The cord is 6 foot long and has an angled plug in case you need to plug it in behind furniture or something. It has 4 USB charging ports, two 2.4 amp and one 1 amp and one marked Auto that goes from 0-2.4 amps. It charges quickly and does not get hot.It has a green indicator light for the USB ports and a red light in the switch. The switch goes from off to reset. The unit does have an internal fuse, that is reset by this switch. Its a nice looking unit and does everything I needed. The only issue I had was plugging in a plug with a ground, it was a little difficult because of the internal slot covers. Once I figured this out, I just angled the plug a little to get the covers to move and it snapped right in, and I mean snap. The plugs should not ever just work their way loose on this unit.
