> 3 dayI havent made much use of this product by itself, but I have used it in a body butter recipe. If I had to describe the consistency, I would say its somewhat like a combination of coconut oil and shea butter. Its kind of grainy but goes on smooth. I like that it hardly has any scent at all, because I can use it in place of shea butter in recipes if I dont want a strong scent. I like this product and if I get more mango butter in the future, I will certainly buy it from this company.

> 3 dayI have been wanting to try Mango butter for a while. The reviews seemed mixed so I put it off. I wish I.had ordered it sooner. I have used beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil and cocoa butter for most of my lotion and cream bases. But it always leaves an oily film. Mango butter balances that out. It doesnt melt as quickly or go on quite as smoothly as shea butter but the end result is not as oily. I made a small base using equal parts of shea butter, mango butter, and coconut oil and whipped it with a hand mixer. It went on smoothly and in my humble opinion absorbed into the skin feeling less oily than just equal parts of shea and coconut oil alone. It does not whip up well on its own and has a bit of a grainy feel when whipped with a little sweet almond oil or vit e oil (I havent tried melting it first). But still, the end result is less greasy. The consistency is more like a cross between shea butter and beeswax.

> 3 dayI ordered mango butter at the recommendation of my chiropractor since Ive been using cocoa butter Vaseline, vitamin E, and Bio-Oil for my stretch marks and growing belly. The mango butter is supposed to last longer and moisturize so will update as I use it in this next month.

> 3 dayThis mango butter is soft and unscented. Great moisturizer, Ivory color and not as greasy as shea butter. I initially bought shea butter which is great, but the nutty scent is not my favorite, and you can smell it even with with essential oils. I made a homemade recipe that turned out light and non greasy. Homemade mango butter: 1/4 cup Mango butter 1 tbsp Coconut oil 1 tsp sweet Almond oil 5 drops Vitamin E oil 15-20 drops of lavender essential oil Melt the butter & Coconut oil in microwave 30 sec at a time, cool in freezer for about 10 - 15 min until it starts to solidify. Take out, add Almond oil and whip until smooth and fluffy. Add essential oil and Vit E oil, mix and place in container. Enjoy!

Greater than one weekItem was great. When I received it, it looked like maybe it melted or perhaps they dont fill the jar all the way? I was slightly disappointed with that, but other than that it product itself was great. Scent is super soft, not abrasive at all.
