I normally use Shea butter but I was eager to try the mango butter. It’s lighter weight in Milton to my skin quickly and easily. I prefer to use it when the weather is warmer and I don’t want to have a coat of Shea butter on my skin. I have ordered my Shea butter for this company many times before and I really like them. They will send you emails with ideas of how to use the butter is making different things. They’re also an ethical company.

Great to make whipped body lotion

Loved it, used it for my whipped Shea butter. Wish more product came in with the price, saw another one with more product for a dollar more I’ll be trying next time. But overall product is very good and melts easily

Mango butter, where have you been all my life? Seriously, I began making lotion bars and cold-process soap a few years ago and have always used Shea butter (along with other butters and oils) in my recipes. Unrefined Shea butter is just unpleasant...refined Shea butter is so excessively greasy. Mango butter is a perfect balance; it is not overly greasy and it has a pleasant, mild scent. The scent of this product reminds me a little of Play-Doh, but not nearly as strong!! Like a very light natural smell. I did not notice any unpleasant or foul odor from this butter. It was a very nice creamy white color and it sliced beautifully and easily. I am definitely purchasing more!!

Mango butter is my new go-to!! It is so silky and smoothe!! It doesnt get grainy or weird, it makes a lovely feeling body butter or lotion! I also used it to make lip balm and Ill never go back to shea butter!! You wont regret trying this. It doesnt smell at all like mango. It has a VERY slight fresh smell to it. The texture of mango butter is decadent⭐

Package inside a bag within a bag. Upon opening the inner bag, there is a bit of a pungent smell. NOT to worry; the smell doesn’t transfer as you are using minimal amount. The directions advise you to use a peas size amount, warm in hands. Despite moving it around hands, to get a useable oil product. I still had a grains . I tried placing the amount in microwave and STLL HAD GRAINS . Photos are what was left after microwave and hands to get the product to melt. I got this for my hair for the LCO method. It left not oily residue (applied on wet hair). Let’s see if my hair will like it after this amount Is depleted. I don’t notice a smell on hands or hair , only when opening the inner bag. UPDATE: So nice my last review I used for a LCO method and after washing my hair, I am still getting granuals of mango butter when combing . I had hoped it would melt or washout.

Would eventually be ordering some more.

THIS COMPANY SELLS THE BEST MANGO BUTTER THAT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED ITS CLEAN, SMOOTH, CREAMY AND THE SCENT IS AWESOME. MELTS AND MIXES WELL TO PRODUCE A GREAT BODY BUTTER WHEN ADDED WITH THE SHEA BUTTER I PURCHASE FROM THIS SAME COMPANY.

Review for mango, Shea and cocoa butters: Bought this along with the cocoa butter and mango butter from the same company and made a body butter with it. I tried to make a whipped body butter but I think I whipped it too much cause after it looked silky for one second it got hard and just kind of crumbly but I don’t care, it was my first time making it and either way it melts when you put it in your hands. I used the combo on my face and body and it sank in beautifully. For reference I used the whole bar of cocoa butter and mango butter and half of the Shea butter bar. I also added a few spoonfuls of coconut oil that I had on hand. It yielded about 24-30oz of body butter which is super cheap in comparison to the 8oz jar of butter butter I usually buy that costs $36. Totally worth it, the quality is great and I will definitely repurchase whenever I finally run out!

After using this I don’t see reason to buy another product for my skin or hair. It is very light, has no scent and moisturizes like no other. I typically apply a bit to my face, hair and my entire body after showering and have found that I use less and that it spreads over and absorbs into my skin much better when my skin is warm and moist. I will DEFINITELY order more of this product before it runs out! SIDENOTE: The product is packaged as shown with the butter in a tightly sealed plastic pouch that holds it’s contents well, however, I plan on transferring my butter to a glass jar with a lid.
