My grandsons are just starting to play games - bought this one - and they love it! It teaches sharing skills - when you have to take one from someone else, counting skills when you are done and how many that you have, color skills, and just fun to watch the bear jump! They are getting the hang of playing games and winners and losers - but most of all just having fun. Very durable - not too many pieces - fun for the family !!

After considering a few different games for toddlers, including hungry hungry hippos, I went with this one. Its everything I hoped it would be; durable, adorable, easy to play and entertaining for all. We made up our own rule that whoever catches the bear gets a treat from the basket. My 3 yr old loves it and now asks to play Bear almost every day. As long as you keep tabs on the little pieces, I could see this lasting for a long time to come, so good value for the money too.

I got this for my 2.5 year old. So far we are not playing it with the little extra pieces, only take turns pressing the button for the bear and wait for it to jump out. It is a surprise for him every time. The Bear is big and sturdy enough to be handled by a 2 year old. Very fun and entertaining. I think it is a great game he can also grow into.

I was pleased that this is not a flimsy game. Its easy for little ones to learn and my 3 year old granddaughter loves it!

Grandkids liked playing this ages 3 to 12. Best part was watching them try to catch the bear when it popped out.
