Beware of The Bear - Poke The Bear and Sneak The Goodies Before He Wakes Up Game by Goliath

My 5 yo enjoys this game and sometimes just keeps pressing the bear’s belly until he pops up. He is not very good at catching the bear but gets a kick out of it.

My grandsons are just starting to play games - bought this one - and they love it! It teaches sharing skills - when you have to take one from someone else, counting skills when you are done and how many that you have, color skills, and just fun to watch the bear jump! They are getting the hang of playing games and winners and losers - but most of all just having fun. Very durable - not too many pieces - fun for the family !!

So the game is very basic. Place the bear in the cave, click his tummy and after so many clicks he jumps out, The best part is it doesn’t require batteries and it actually has different numbers of clicks until the bear jumps up. I was afraid that it would be the same number but actually it rotates between 7-9. The concept is easy, roll the dice… depending on what you roll you poke him once or twice and then pick a goody from the basket. The game doesn’t necessarily end when the bear jumps out, it ends when all the goodies from the basket are out. Which is nice that you can continue to play. So I took a star off because my four-year-old does have a little bit more difficulty when pushing the button when he’s about to jump. Normally it’s a very easy click but you couldn’t even tell from an adult and when the bear is about to jump out. Which to me makes the game a little bit more easy because you are supposed to catch him when he jumps… which is also difficult because he doesn’t jump all that high. Overall though my son has a lot of fun with this and it includes a 24 piece puzzle for free: I wish there was a way to store the pieces because I can see these little goodies getting lost easy.

I bought this as a gift for my 3 year old son. He and my daughter (6) LOVED it. They played it all day and by evening we were all playing it as a family. Super easy so small kids can play but entertaining enough for the whole family. I ended up ordering one for my 4 year old nephew.

Simple but fun game for the kids!

My four year old grandchildren and I played this for hours today and had a ball. They absolutely loved every minute. The game items are well made, not too many pieces; the game is terrific fun!

This was a Christmas gift for my 3.5 year old. It was quick and easy to unbox and set up. She caught on immediately and played it over and over for 30 min or so. Her 8 year old sister enjoyed playing with her but definitely wouldn’t hold her attention for long. Everything is included, no sounds and no batteries was a plus after a busy, loud weekend.

This game is so much fun, my kids love it! My kids are 3,6 and 12. I bought it for my sons 6th birthday. My 3 yo was a little scared the first few times to push the belly because you dont know when the bear will pop out but after a few games she got used it to, even my 12 yo enjoys playing. The ages say 4t but my lil one had no problem playing on her own. The die is easy to read & its a fun counting game too. I definitely recommend we have a lot of fun playing & the price is worth it!
