> 24 hourUsed these on my TronXY X5S with the Big Tree Tech SKR 1.4 board. These drivers are great. Im using them without end stop switches and that works wonderfully. These drivers and that control board made the X5S so much quieter and smoother. It was the best upgrade Ive done for that printer. Id greatly recommend these.

> 24 hourTMC2209 is such a significant upgrade over A4988. There is no sound from the stepper, which I didnt even think was possible until now! FYI Im using it with a Nema17 stepper.

> 24 hourWorked perfectly for my Tenlog Printer. I had a fan fail and the heat smoked the 2209 chip for Extruder E1. Ordered the 4 pack and attached 2 of the packaged heatsinks for extra cooling and I was off to the races in under 20 minutes.

> 24 hourswapped my a4988 drivers out for two of these and plugged them in and put a jumper between the en/gnd on my cnc shield and they worked right away! the vref came set perfect for my 1.5a steppers and they make ZERO sound!

> 24 hourIt’s probably not the drivers fault, but the BTT Octopus board wouldn’t acknowledge these steppers. I give up on BTT and Biqu. Returned everything and changing brands

> 24 hourI ordered UART mode to avoid having to do additional soldering, but I still received the standalone version. The soldering pads are very tiny. Hopefully my hands will be steady enough to solder them without breaking it. I understand mix ups happen, but this is annoying.

> 24 hourPretty darn quiet and work well. Would have preferred a version without the pins already attached, but I understand that most people want the pins on them, so there is that. Good that they include the heatsinks as the can get toasty.

> 24 hourIf you are buying these for anything other than a replacement part for a 3D printer, dont bother. These TMC2208s come on UART mode which renders them incapable of STEP/DIR driver mode. So long as VM/GND and VIO/GND are connected then all 4 output signals are held at perpetual highs even when EN is high.
