Much better than stock... This was a nice upgrade to my stock Monoprice i3 clone.

Bought these for a Dremel 3D45. As I type this Im sin the second hour of a 28 hour print and everything seems to be running very smoothly. Im hoping that these will stop the frequent jamming issues Ive been having. Ill update after some more serious print time.

Seem solid and work great in my mk8 extruder.

These gears grip the filament very well. They dont slip and generally provide nice results. In 3D printing, there are always little things that add up and these are a good inexpensive item to ensure that the whole system is running smoothly over long periods of time. Most people will have good results with this on a single gear extruder. The only weakness I have seen is that with certain prints that have a lot of retractions, there will be flattening of the filament. This may lead to under extrusion or even complete blocking of the Bowden tube. So if a certain print has fine detail such as fine embossed text, the retractions will add up and begin crushing PLA filament before the filament reaches far into the Bowden tube. Hence, this will lean on a slicer setting for Max Retractions.

Definetley doesn’t grind my gears the least bit. Works as they should.

I ordered these to swap out the stock grear from my Ender 3 and they seem to be a good value upgrade. They are all well machined and have two grub screws. These are a bit more aggressive than the stock gear but thats what I was looking for.

I got some of these to go with a metal extruder for my Ender 3. Theyre probably strong enough to drag a refrigerator down a hallway. Get some. Throw your brass in the trash.

Always had problems with my ender 3 with under extrusion with certain filament brands at normal temps. Work around was to increase temp which caused stringing or blobs till I found these steel gears for the extruder. Made a difference reminds me of the original ones you find on a wanhao i3. Must buy for Ender 3.
