Filament is the natural prey of a 3d printer, and a printer with a brass feed gear will inevitably starve to death as the teeth wear down, I refit mine with these stainless steel gears, which contain many more teeth and grip better than the standard brass ones. Now the filament in my boxes tremble in fear at the newly terrifying maw of my printers.

Fixed my Maker select V2 with these, dont know if these match the factory gear as I dont think mine had a factory gear in it when it failed. But it matched whatever mine had. Only critique is that the gears seemed like they got banged around in transit so there were some light existing marked/gouges on them. I suspect its not an issue, I just used the one with the least and it worked great.

I got this as an upgrade to my CR-10S, which seems to work a lot better than the factory brass one. After installation all you have to do is calibrate your E-Steps, which I used a video by SanTube 3D off YouTube to explain the process. Afterwards I would suggest re-flashing the firmware with the new calculation of your E-Steps as some printers may vary, so you wont have to keep putting the E-Steps in every time when you turn off or restart your printer.

These are nice fit my ender 3. I do recommend adding some loctite to the set scew or it will come loose everytime

I got some of these to go with a metal extruder for my Ender 3. Theyre probably strong enough to drag a refrigerator down a hallway. Get some. Throw your brass in the trash.

They work great the higher teeth count eliminates grinding.
