In theory, this is a really great idea, but since the bird was able to chew a hole in the same within an hour, its probably not the safest way to be transporting a bird.

I like this travel cage mainly for the convenience. it’s not bulky and it folds up nice so you don’t have to worry about it taking up too much room when using it. The tray on the bottom is not attached, so when you place it on a flat surface the bottom kind of caves so i would suggest a temporary attachment while in use. Easy to carry around and my bird sits comfortably on the perch in the middle. Would recommend

Both my green cheek conure and bare eyed cockatoo have gone on day trips in this and it’s great. Pros- -Pretty spacious. I worried my bare eyed cockatoo would not have space but she has plenty of space and loves seeing everyone and saying hi. She actually enjoys this way more than her harness. -Has the stand which is great for the birds to be comfortable and for us to put a potty pad under Cons- - The mesh part is pretty thin. Though none of my birds have broken through it yet, I feel like if my cockatoo wanted, she could definitely chew through the sides of the bag quickly. Anytime I see her rubbing her beak against it ( which is a lot) I distract her. - I wish it came with a part on the stand to hold a small water and food bowl. The bowls move around everywhere and it’s annoying to take them in and out when we are outside. Overall great buy if you want to have a nice beach day with the birds. I feel way more comfortable having them in something like this to avoid predators than in their harness (which my cockatoo definitely chews when wearing)

The item is well made and my conure fits in it perfectly.

Bought it for our Amazon, it’s spacious and well ventilated. We replaced the perch and bought a food/water clip-on bowl. It’s roomie enough for him to be comfortable. Backpack straps are sturdy and fits well.

Why not a top load and unload? Trying to remove a parrot flapping around from the sides, in such a small space, is a nightmare. Being able to open from the top, lower a towel down onto her back is easiest and safer for the bird and its parent.

I purchased this as a gift for my Bestie and her adopted rescue African Grey, they are both thrilled with it. She is now able to safely bring her girl with her on short walks and over to see me.

Good product. Seems to do what is should...Almost. I read a question posted about a loop to hang toys from. The answer indicated there was. As I was ordering, there was an offer for a discounted price on a choice of two toys, offered by the company, so I purchased one. Well, no loop to hang the toy from. I do like the toy though.

This worked great for transporting my birds. My daughter also used it to carry her bearded dragon. Easy to carry and clean after use. Has a metal tray inside which makes it hold its shape pretty well and makes it easier to clean.
