> 3 dayGood size for larger birds. I have a macaw. Wood blocks are thin but a good thickness. When they are too thick she loses interest and stops chewing.. these are not so thin she can chew through them quickly, but thin enough that she does break them and feels accomplished lol. Lasted a couple weeks. Will be buying another.

Greater than one weekIt is cheaply made, 1 string was broken opening the package. Fell in cage trying to hang it. Bird won’t even look at it. I should have looked closely at what I Was getting, cardboard! Cheap wood! Very cheaply made metal hanger.

> 3 dayI have a macaw, and this chew tower is not made for macaws. The size is large (which is great), but the wood blocks are very thin. My macaw ignored it the first day. The second day it was completely demolished in about 30-min. As for the cardboard separators, my bird ignored them completely, which I expect is because we provide cardboard frequently since it is freely available when I purchase from Amazon. I expect that this chew tower would be fine for Amazons, African Greys, etc. I gave it 3-stars since their description noted macaws, which it clearly is not designed for.

10-06-2025It was fun for my bird but it was too expensive for only an hour’s entertainment.

> 3 dayIt’s well worth the price!!! THANK YOU!!! Please continue to make these!! My B&Gold Macaw loves this = I love it!! I introduced it to her by tearing tiny pieces off of the cardboard pieces. She likes the sound of tearing paper, then I gave her each piece to toss down, that was the perfect intro. She liked the noise then the feel of the cardboard etc.. then I attached it to her tree. I can leave them connected or I’ve separated the 3 long strands, placed 1 on her “play tree” in the family room, 1 inside her cage and the other replaces whichever one she demolishes first. It occupies some of her time everyday, keeping her busy, while she entertains herself with it. Other brands’ strands of wood chunks & paper end up with her chewing through the main rope, but this rope is sturdy enough. She hasn’t chewed through one of their ropes yet (I’ve purchased 3 (3 orders x3ropes = 9 ropes), even though she chews on the ropes often. The chunks fall to be the bottom tray & later shell climb down to chew them up even more. It’s meant to be chewed, shredded and demolished, while occupying your birds attention, time and encouraging them to chew IT rather than your personal items, etc, Mission Accomplished!!! We love this product!!!! It’s been well worth the price!! Again, Please continue making them!!

> 3 dayMy parrots like to chew cardboard and wood. This works great for them, plus I can divide it up and give each bird one strand.

> 3 dayThe Bird loves it so that makes it worth it right there! I just wish it would have been all strung with chain instead of rope. It would have made it last a while longer!
