Greater than one weekMy bird really enjoys this toy. He has chewed all the cardboard out and has begun to demolish the string holding the toy together. Actually he has chewed the string and cardboard out twice now. My husband reassembles it and inserts new cardboard and the bird is off to the races, again. He ignores other chew toys in his cage but this one is just too tempting.

Greater than one weekThis toy has three strands so it divides perfectly for our three blue and golds. The cordage used is good. Not sure why others find the heavy cord to be substandard. Id rather have good sisal rope or a braided heavy twine than chains. The wood pieces are just right for a powerful B&G. Yes, they can shred the wood, but thats the point, right? As for the cardboard, the squares are just the right size to provide more than just a bite or two when being chewed. I received this toy just a few days ago, and I can already see that Im going to need more. When I find a toy that the guys ALL like, I am a happy camper. All three birds have their own cage, and each one has accepted this toy and theyre steadily destroying it. Also, the price is right! Its priced at $24, give or take a few cents. From that, Ive gotten three toys, which works out to $8 for each toy. I figure theyll last at least a few weeks, so its money well spent in my book. Yes, its made in China, but Ive also checked the cord, the wood and the cardboard carefully, and I neither see nor smell anything odd. Seems some corded toys from China have a rather distinctive odor, often described as something like gas or diesel. I find none of that with this toy. I feel confident in allowing our birds to tear into this toy. I would definitely recommend this for medium to large birds, pretty much any bird from about African Grey sized on up to the BIG birds. Be talkin to you.....David

> 3 dayThis is our new favorite toy! I bought the single strand first, and it worked out great! As he destroyed parts of it, I could shorten the rope to keep it at a length he could easily access. I then bought this bigger version, but I hang one piece/stringer of it at a time, so I get more value for the money. Its easy enough for him to shred, but it takes him a few days. Very excited to have found this, and will continue to buy!

Greater than one weekMy African grey loves this toy. Only problem is she targets the rope and everything ends up at the bottom of the cage. Which leaves me to try and figure out how to fix it. If it had chain to hold all the blocks and cardboard would be 5star toy. If she leaves the rope alone she has fun chewing everything. Maybe someone will listen to comments.

> 3 dayGood size for larger birds. I have a macaw. Wood blocks are thin but a good thickness. When they are too thick she loses interest and stops chewing.. these are not so thin she can chew through them quickly, but thin enough that she does break them and feels accomplished lol. Lasted a couple weeks. Will be buying another.
