BLACK+DECKER dustbuster 20V MAX* POWERCONNECT Cordless Handheld Vacuum (BCHV001C1)

The filter is very difficult to remove for cleaning and the filter handle is fragile. For this reason I would look at other options for hand held vacuums. I was looking for a portable hand vac to clean the interior of my car. My older hand vac was great for picking up crumbs, etc. but not strong enough to clean upholstery and floor mats. This vacuum exceeded my expectations. It works nearly as well as the suction machines at Car Washes. I also like having a removable battery, though it is a little cumbersome to switch back and forth between recharging the battery pack and removing it to clean. Still, I would purchase this again.

Great little vacuum. I have several 20 volt batteries and chargers that I use with my other Black and Decker tools. Was nice to be able to purchase this vacuum without the battery and charger.

The main reason I purchased this model is that it uses the B&D 20 Volt Max battery. I have an assortment of Black and Decker 20V tools with extra batteries. Just be careful that you do not put the filter assembly in upside down (it sort of fits). The cover will go on just enough to jam, then you will have a real problem trying to get it open again. Overall, I like it.

I have had many cordless hand held vacs over the years. They all worked, some better than others. This Model is a power house. It has strong suction. It can pick up dirt, sand, pet hair and countless other things without an issue. It comes with a battery and charger. It charges in a few hours. It is simple to take apart, clean and put back together. It can easily get into tight places that your bigger vac would not fit into. It is light weight and has one accessory.

I previously purchased the Black & Decker model PHV1810 and CHV1410L. I had to throw away both units after about 3 years because they could not keep a charge and the batteries were not replaceable. It seems like such a waste to get rid of items that are still functioning well mechanically. This vacuum comes with a detachable/replaceable battery and a charger; it has a larger bin, and the filter is washable. It is much quieter than the two previous models and has very good suction power. The battery lasts much longer on a full charge. I was able to vacuum the whole inside of my car and it still had a lot of juice left. I believe at full charge, the run time is about 20 minutes (twice as long as my previous B&D vacuums).

Its convenient with battery...but doesnt have much suction. Its basically barely adequate. Battery life is marginal at beat

Really glad that we purchased this item and the fact that it works with the Black & Decker batteries that I already have for my tools makes it a good value

Great vacuum… I highly recommend! Especially if you have a German Shedder dog!
