This particular model is very loud. Louder than other hand vacuums (Bissell, Shark) we have had in the past. Also, the attachment for this vacuum isnt very useful. It cannot reach hard to reach places due to its short length. Overall, I would not repurchase.

Little heavy, cant charge with battery in place ..ie a stand with a mini plug to charge...consider buying additional battery higher amp maybe if unit take it..need to ask BD

Bought this in January - used it twice - and now it doesn’t work. Tried a new battery without success. Went to product troubleshooting - and it’s so general that it was useless. Very frustrating

I bought this because i have other B&D 20v tools. The build quality is good and heavy duty. This makes it heavier and larger than other hand vacs. Like most hand vacs, they derive good suction by making the nozzle very small. It is kind of crazy to have a large vac that only sucks up a 2 wide swath. I mainly use it on pine cat litter pellets and where it gets tracked onto my carpet. I wish they had a brush attachment for carpets and furniture for pet hair. Easy to clean. Filter stays in place.

I like the ability to change out batteries and recharge or replace them as needed. The filter cleaning is much easier.

I was in search of a vacuum cleaner for my car that would last at least 20 minutes, and this one does everything as stated. It cleans the car the way I need it, and it lasts long enough. And not only that but one can also purchase another battery and replace it for the one that was already used, so it could be useful for up to 50 minutes with a back-up battery; I think it is a good deal.

I broke this Dustbuster to replace the model that is similar that has the extendable wand. That one had great suction, but the filter needed to be changed after just a few minutes of use this one has the pleated filter and just does not lose suction.

The main reason I purchased this model is that it uses the B&D 20 Volt Max battery. I have an assortment of Black and Decker 20V tools with extra batteries. Just be careful that you do not put the filter assembly in upside down (it sort of fits). The cover will go on just enough to jam, then you will have a real problem trying to get it open again. Overall, I like it.

I liked the fact that it uses the same battery as all the rest of my Black and Decker 20v Max tools and you can buy larger capacity batteries to extend run time.

Exceeded my expectations. I use it almost every day and still havent recharged the battery. No more wall-mounted units for me.
