Sometimes the powder gets stuck in the corners. I recommend filling it half with water or whatever your liquid is, and then add your powder/ingredients. If you do that, you get a pretty great mix thats super even and smooth. Its totes worth it, and cheaper than a blender or regular bottle that wont be able to mix as well. Its pretty easy to clean, just use a brush to clean the nooks and crannies of the lid. Side note: I have been able to mix old bananas and ripe avocados. If its pretty mushy, itll handle it fine, though its quite a workout and can be used as a shakeweight replacement as well.

I purchased this product because my previous BlenderBottles lid form Walmart split. This is the 2nd BlenderBottle whose lid has cracked making it useless to me. I think that they should sell replacement lids. Im going to go ahead and chalk up the cracking lids to excessive washing in the dish washer. (high heat mixed with chemicals then cooling off and being wrenched on my bottle too hard) Im going to do a little experiment and not wash this one in the dish washer. If I get another cracked lid in less than six months as happened before this review is going to be downgraded real fast. The lids should not be cracking on these every six months or less. I already threw away the old lids so I cannot provide a picture, but it cracked right where the lid makes an angle to start making a dome shape. When the shaker doesnt have a cracked lid it works great for fine powder and water mixtures. Its terrible for protein powders as they are usually clumpy and the little metal ball really doesnt mix it up well enough. I usually use an electric blender stick to mix protein powder up. Im not going to recommend this to you until its lasted me a year or more. If I update this before then youll know its because it cracked on me again. I do like how these come in a variety of colors.

Works just as well as the large shaker bottle but fits in my lunchbox much better and doesnt leak or spill. Still plenty of room to shake up 12oz of almond milk with my protein shake. Fits in my dishwashers top rack much better than the larger size too. Love the color. I used to think blender bottles were just a gimmick but now that Ive been using them, I swear by them. My powders incorporate into my almond milk or water SO SO SO much better. Do yourself a favor if youve never tried one and are thinking about it, just order one! You wont regret it.

This is the perfect protein shaker. For some reason, other protein shakers tend to be way too big, or tend to leak. In other words, they cant do their ONE job. But this guy is small, sleek, and snaps shut super tight. The whisk ball is just the icing on the cake.

This blender bottle was exactly what I wanted. I had been looking for the smaller size at brick-and-mortar shop locations but couldnt find the size that I was looking for. I ended up with the pink bottle and it looks exactly as the image depicts. Its dishwasher safe and appears to be very good quality. It also snaps shut very reliably, so you can shake up your protein powder without worrying that it will pop open and make a big mess. I definitely recommend!

I really like these blender bottles. The blenderball works well enough to blend up a spoonful of peanut butter in my protein shake, with good shaking. After almost exactly one year of daily use, the lid developed a large crack which leaks. I attached a photo, a close-up of the crack. The rounded domed part of the lid just separated from the rim of the lid. For a year of use I guess its ok. I will order another.

Cleaning is easy, no leaks

I have had this product for about 4 months now, and I use it on a daily basis. I got the pink one in the 20 ounce size and it is perfect for me. I drink about one scoop of protein powder a day, so I really dont need anything bigger. I fill it halfway with water, and I like the consistency. The quality of the shaker is really nice, it looks the same as the day I got it. The top still closes very tightly and Im not afraid to throw it in my bag. I also find that unlike other bottles, this does not start to smell. I do make sure to wash it out after every use almost immediately, but there have been situations overnight where I have left it in my car. And it still smells just fine. There is a little faint smell of the protein powder I use, but almost unnoticeable. I did try the trick of freezing it to get rid of the smell, and it did. Either way, it is not an issue for me. I hand wash this, so I have no idea how it would fare in the dishwasher. I also find that it mixes my protein powder very well. I use the One Start Gold Standard in various flavors and 30 seconds of shaking makes sure there are no lumps in there. The little ball does a great job. Overall, I think this is great for the price, and if I ever needed another, I would buy the same thing.
