not sure how this will perform. the handle is plastic and i wonder how thin it is because it feels lightweight. ive picked up a few glass breaking tools before and can remember them being heavier duty. i may have to go to the junkyard to test this thing out.

Bought as a gift for my niece for her first car. Great tool to have. You should prepare for any type of situation.

No safety cap as pictured

The strap that hangs it product on the visor is a little sketch, the seat belt cutter tends to cut into it. Makes me concerned it will compromise the strap and go thru the windshield with a heavy brake

After reading reviews, I was expecting a pure metal object. Only the actual part that makes contact with the window is metal. The body is plastic. Maybe that doesn’t matter but not exactly what I was expecting. Hopefully, I don’t ever have to use it.

I am hoping this is a item I never have to use when I am in my car, but it is nice to know it is there if I need it.
