I had been using a leash style back pack for my almost 2 year old and it just wasn’t working for us. She didn’t like feeling that restricted on her chest and holding the leash itself was just very inconvenient when I needed to use my hands. So I decided to give this a try and I was not disappointed! I was worried the adult side wouldn’t fit my large wrists but it is very adjustable and has plenty of room and my daughter loves it! She feels less restricted but can’t run away from me and it’s very very sturdy so it wouldn’t break if someone tried!

I am so excited to write this review in the hopes of helping at least 1 mother who has autistic children or runners. I so did not want to get one of these but I am a single mother of autistic twins. My boy is a runner and screams in the stroller. It is a NIGHTMARE alone. My girl twin doesnt run and is more of the stand still collecting sticks type. She cant enjoy herself because I have to constantly grab her and run for my boy twin. I couldnt keep both happy so this little gadget was heaven sent. Went to the park today and I almost cried because the experience was night and day. I didnt feel defeated or overwhelmed. I got the long one so he still could run but not too far and she could happily collect sticks so both were happy. Well all 3 of us were happy. If you are on the fence please take a chance and try it because i guarantee u it will change ur quality of parenting on outings. I was embarrassed but not anymore. This was my last desperate attempt and it has paid off tremendously. AUTISTIC CHILD APPROVED..love yourself and ur child. Buy it

This is a great investment when you have a child that likes to wonder off or walks faster than you or sees something amazing and takes off and you arent able to catch and keep up with them. I used this with a 7-year-old at Sea World, and Legoland.

Bought for a friend, so he could use with his toddler on a trip. The product looked smaller than expected, but it worked for the purpose it was intended to and fit.

Got this to take walks with a 3 year old. It is comfortable and works well, especially when he wants to run (3 year old love to run!). There is 2 parts to velcro onto the childs wrist, one regular slide through then fold over to close, then another rubber velcro strip that comes from the other direction to double close over the first to make it harder for the child to remove. However since this second strip is rubber it got torn off after the 3rd use (the first strip is cloth). Other than this, I want to say that when its worn on a walk I love it. At first it was unique and the 3 year old didnt mind putting it on, but the last time he wasnt so sure he wanted to be confined so I bribed him with m&ms (I much prefer bribes to arguments). Running is so good for kids, but only at a park or in a fenced yard...If you want to go on a nice walk on the sidewalk with a road right next to it this works great. I think this would be wonderful for outings to the zoo or such places as that.

My son is a few months away from being 3 yrs old and just started running off outside recently. After I happened right next to Walmart parking lot thats when I decided to look for a tool that could help. What happened was, usually I carry my 5m old in a baby carrier and that way Im able to get my toddler in his carseat first but I was running into a lil store real quick in n out and just carried my baby and held Noahs hand. Well then I had to get baby in his carseat 1st, told noah put his hands on the car, he did, as soon as I leaned in to set baby down... Noah took off running. Scared the crap out of me. Then we have a long driveway but he keeps taking off running getting closer to the Rd, he always stop way before the Rd but he laughs n laughs and is just testing me. I try talking to him n stuff but he just doesnt understand he laughs n laughs (he did same in the parking lot). Tho weve only used this once and on a family walk so I had the baby in the carrier & daddy wore the wrist thing with noah, it worked great. it was Noahs first time usually I push him in stroller & wear baby, was happy daddy could come along for our first time to try it out n see how noah did with it--- noah got upset within a couple mins so mike put noah on his shoulders bc noah wanted it off so he could take off running. He enjoyed being on shoulders but he is very independent and we told him he couldnt walk unless he wore it and then finally he did that and he did great. Of course walking across the street or whatever we hold his hand even while wearing but I know without it he wouldve ran everywhere all around and with it he walked right with us (wasnt by any roads r anything or wouldve been holding his hand anyway so wasnt a risk area). It feels really nice, I have practiced with noah around the house myself and I really like it and the way it works and I dont see how it could come apart at all !!! Great little tool for momma very happy !

With a toddler that likes to let go of hands and run, this does a great job. This is quite helpful for me with my grandchild because my legs dont move so well, I can be assured she wont run off or out of my reach.
