Lifesaver for adventurous wandering toddlers The wrist design could be made better so it was harder to figure out how to remove it. The rings connecting the coiled wire to the cuff should be metal. I had to replace them eventually with metal key ring type rings. But the coiled wire was sturdy and keeps it’s shape. It’s handy to keep one of these in each car. Don’t be embarrassed to use these. They keep your kids safe and that’s all that matters these days.

I had been using a leash style back pack for my almost 2 year old and it just wasn’t working for us. She didn’t like feeling that restricted on her chest and holding the leash itself was just very inconvenient when I needed to use my hands. So I decided to give this a try and I was not disappointed! I was worried the adult side wouldn’t fit my large wrists but it is very adjustable and has plenty of room and my daughter loves it! She feels less restricted but can’t run away from me and it’s very very sturdy so it wouldn’t break if someone tried!

At first I was 100% against these. In todays world, in a crowded places is a must. I bought it for us to use with our 4 year old when we go to Gatlinburg. The piece of mind I will have while he gets to enjoy walking and being the adult he wants to be is……priceless.

We bought this for our 3 year old who doesnt like to hold hands! We told her it is her safety bracelet and she will wear it. She can get the one layer of velcro off but it has another layer She doesnt know how to get off. It is nice to use when we go somewhere with crowds or close to the road.

Used this while on a trip to Disneyland with my 2 year old who recently decided to be more adventurous than usual. He was everywhere and I was tired of stressing out and just want to enjoy Disneyland. I actually used this as last resort and I was A bit ashamed at first thinking I was the only mom who couldn’t control her own child, but at this point I didn’t care, I wanted to enjoy Disneyland also. Had some looks or even a dad pointing us out saying to his kids see look at them, if you don’t listen, I’ll put you in one of those. Shoot, I didn’t care. I want safety for my child and want to know where he is at all times Since he was a runner; especially in those Disney crowds. It was comfortable to wear, however I thought the length is a little bit to long to use with my adventure bug. Still manageable. After the one time use though, he learned his lesson and walked by my side and listened while holding my hand, which I don’t mind.

My daughter is 2 almost 3 and has a ton of energy. We walk to the park in our neighborhood daily. My problem though was getting her to hold my hand and stay close to me. There are no sidewalks in my neighborhood and she would constantly try to run towards the road. This makes going to the park so mush simpler and safer. She has enough freedom so she doesn’t get mad like when I’m holding her hand and she is stuck walking next to me. I can also easily keep her from running into the street baby staying just out of distance. I think I am most excited to try this at the zoo this spring so she can actually walk around this time. Very comfortable, easy to adjust, and reasonably compact.

Can I give this 6 stars? I love it! My son can walk beside me and not escape. I typically hold his hand while using this wrist strap, but it IS ok if I have to let go of his hand for a minute. He is safe with this strap. Its still in great shape after using it for a year an a half. When I do need another one, I will definitely come back to this one!
