Our family of four (with 2 elementary school aged kids) has loved this game! Our 2nd and 4th graders have no problem with strategy, and its great fun for the whole family.

Each game is unique which keeps it from being boring.

This is a very entertaining game and a new favorite of ours. It is very easily explained. It can be played by a wide mix of ages. Although can be played by up to four players. I think it is best when played by four people.

Lovely game. The game board is large and colorful. We all kids and adults enjoy playing it.

The product is advertised as Blokus XL but we were sent the original version of Blokus. Returning. The actual game is a lot of fun! But the one star is for incorrect item being sent.

my family loves playing this game. really a game of strategy but easy to play and easy to learn, good for probably 5 and up. The adults love playing as well.

This is a fun and interesting puzzle game. I normally play with my two sons (5 and 8). The game is trivially easy to pick up and play even for children. The scoring rules are simple. This is definitely a challenging game due to the complex interactions between colors on the board. However, I found that even my children were able to grasp the basic strategies of leaving their options open for later in the game, blocking other players, and saving the little pieces for last when the board is so full you cant place the big pieces anywhere. I read the reviews before I bought it, and one person recommended shrinking the board by one square on each side for a three-player game and two squares all around for a two-player game. The board is clearly balanced for four players, but that idea works well enough.

A 7-year old introduced me to this game and I was instantly hooked after being beaten several times by him. It takes a game or two to figure out and then its good competitive fun. Ive played this with one other player although having four players makes it most challenging.

I bought this as a late Christmas present. I played it for the first time 3 years ago and really enjoyed the challenge of piecing the puzzle together. At first, I thought it was up to chance, but the guys I played with soon figured out that if you start with a certain piece, you will always win! Good luck figuring that out!

This was a gift for my nephew’s 9th birthday. The whole family loves playing it together. It is a great present for elementary age kids.
