Great game for all ages! Played at a friends house over beverages. We ended up playing for hours. The next day my husband and I both were out running errands separately and each of us had bought it for our house!

Bought this as a gift for my neighbor. We played it together and found one of the blue pieces is warped and does not sit flush against the board. We tried to gently bend it but ended up snapping it in the process. We super glued it for her as a temporary fix. I don’t really want to ask for the gift back in order to exchange it so I am trying to figure out how to replace just the broken piece. I could order the $4.00 bag of blue replacement tiles from the manufacturer’s website but 1) I shouldn’t have to pay more just it came this way and 2) I don’t know if the blokus “deluxe” pieces are the same size as the standard. What a pain. Update: I ended up buying a second game so I could swap out the tile with my neighbor and then I just kept the game with the broken tile. I’m glad that I did not order the $4 piece bag from the manufacturer. I visited another family over Thanksgiving and saw they had the original, non-deluxe version that is available in store. Holy smokes, that board is tiny! The pieces are tiny! I wish I could have done a by side photo, the replacement tiles would not have fit at all. So, in the end we kept the game with the defective piece. We think of our friends every time we see it even though they moved away. Having now seen the original version, I would NEVER buy it or recommend that anyone else buy it. It is microscopic in comparison and would only be good if you are an ant. Buy this deluxe model, check all the tiles, and you’ll be good to go.

Fun game for 2 players. Quick and easy to learn, but takes some skill to play well. Old and young players will enjoy this. I only wish it came made of sturdier materials, not cheap plastic. Nonetheless, it is a quick, unique game, utilizing a players spatial skills. I think it would make a great gift.

Great game for almost everyone. We play with our grandchildren, ages 5-11, and the adults face off against each other as well. Easy to learn the basics but takes time to learn the strategy. Fun addition to the family game shelf.

Besides it being addictive! We find when we play that we are not in competition mode with each other. It always seems to become us against the game. We often wind up helping each other with hints as to the placement of pieces. Maybe thats just us! If you arent familiar with Blokus, give it a shot. This is literally a game you can play with your kids as the skills needed arent necessarily those that improve with age. The rules and the manner of play can literally be learned in moments. The games themselves do not drag on and are quick enough for a quick respite and a little bit of fun! Highly recommended!

If you want to play a board game that doesnt last 3 hours, this is for you. 30 minutes and its over - easy to squeeze a game in.

I was first exposed to the regular square Blokus game and it was very addicting. Found this Trigon version and it is also very addicting. The fact that just two people can play it (each using two colors) makes the value even more. Great game that makes you think a few moves ahead. It is very easy to learn and definitely fun to play!
