Best Umbrella Ever! I absolutely love this umbrella. Its sturdy, stands up to lots of wind, and is of high quality. The only downside is that you will have to keep an eye on it as others will want it too! ;)

I really wanted to like this umbrella and chose it due to its average 4.5 stars and statement that it is wind resistant. On the positive side, it opens large and folds down small, exactly like I wanted. However, on its first use, it turned inside out with just the slightest gust of wind, wind that wasnt even strong enough to blow the leaves around on the trees. This bent the very flimsy rods that are above the folding mechanism and that, I presume, are to help stabilize the umbrella in the wind. Now, even a stray fart would be strong enough to flip the flimsy thing inside out again. I planned to keep it as a back up umbrella for very calm, misty days, but on the third use the open/close mechanism jammed and it takes several tries to open it or close it. Returning this piece of junk that didnt even last 20 minutes total in very mild rain showers. At least Amazon has a good return policy.

This umbrella has proven to be an excellent choice for me. It is large enough to keep me dry while it closes up to store well in the car. Just what I was looking for.

Okay, so dont buy anything else other than the Totes brand product.

When open, this umbrella certainly gets the job done by keeping you dry and is large enough to keep another person dry as well. It has a push button feature to open which is convenient but, wish the button would work to close the umbrella, as you have to unlatch it as with any standard umbrella. Also, this umbrella when completely stored and bundled up, its a little thick and heavier compared to your standard compact umbrella, but go figure, at least itll fit in your bag compared to your regular golf umbrella which you have to carry around like a cane.

The umbrella latch broke that holds the umbrella open. This has happened with this product before but we thought it was a fluke. After ordering more and it happening after the 4th use it just became frustrating. I am now trying to figure out how to go about returning these in hopes to find a longer lasting product.
