Had to replace the factory block due to corrosion. This unit was straight forward. I’m not sure really where water resistance comes into play because I feel like it just shields water from the connection but let’s be honest, if you have a bow rider, you’ll be replacing these about every five years. My boat doesn’t have a “dry” compartment. Overall, I’d buy this again over other units. Feels like good quality, was simple to install my only nitpick was it didn’t come with stainless screws or an assortment of fuses for the price.

Just got this in the mail today I havent had a chance to use it but it definitely looks and feels like a quality product ! It will be perfect for the off grid horse trailer Im building !!! Will be installed this week !!!
