> 3 dayThe thermostat has a locking thing... well I didnt know about it but my husband did and showed me how to properly plug the heating mat into the thermostat... currently testing it out and using it to help a Rainbow stag beetle larva grow :)

> 3 dayI love this! I only wish it didn’t have so many cords but it’s nothing to complain about overall.

> 3 dayIn this (admittedly non-typical) case the task is keeping the interior of an oven at 77–78° F. to control proofing conditions for bread dough. It takes a while to get the temp to the desired point, but it works as desired. The thermostat switches the heating pad on when the air temp inside the oven drops exactly 2° below the target temperature. Thats just right for my purposes. The controls are easy to use. A quick glance at the instructions and youll have it working in moments. Its accurate: While testing the heater I also kept a Thermoworks Spot thermometer inside the oven. As I write the review the Spot is displaying 78.3° and the BN-LINK thermostat is displaying 78.4°. One downside: Its good that the thermostats power cord is heavy-duty, but it arrived so tightly coiled that I had some trouble getting it to relax and straighten out. Its a minor annoyance, not a deal-killer. (4 stars for now as I dont know yet how long the equipment will hold up.)

> 3 dayI bought 6 of these to heat a leopard gecko rack and they are rigid, but still slim. Definitely recommend using a thermostat though, as they can get quite hot (around 105F). Overall great for the price. BN link is really stepping it up for reptile keepers and making solid products.

Greater than one weekNot a fan that it can be damaged if relocated, so i decided not to use the adhesive. So far, so good.

> 3 dayThis is an easy to use heat pad. Be advised that you can’t control the temperature on it without also ordering a Herpstat with it, and it will most likely get too hot without one if your intent is to use it for a reptile. Perfect size to go under a 10 gallon or smaller tank.

> 3 dayThis thing didn’t come with any instructions. Nor is it easy to figure out how to use. Unfortunately I didn’t find out until a while after I had ordered this since I bought it a few months ahead of the winter months for terrarium heating over the winter- but the product I received isnt even functioning

> 3 dayWere using this under my sons plastic sea monkey tank to keep the water at the right temperature. It wasnt quite warm enough before we started using this. I didnt peel off the sticky tape because its bigger than the tank itself. I had read that some people use mug warmers and other sea monkey owners use these. This mini pad so far is working fabulously! Weve been using it in conjunction with a sticker thermometer so we know exactly how much its heating up their water.
