This is an absolute must have for the Quest 2. The unit is very comfortable because it takes the weight off your forehead. The weight is evenly distributed. The design and functionality are suburb. The magnets are strong. I also like the gel adhesive on the back of the charging mat. It stays secure on most surfaces (vertical and horizontal mounts). I highly recommend this set if you use the Quest 2 often.

Everything I heard was true. Its a bit heavy with battery but I cant think of any other downsides. The distribution is really good and fine for an adult. Super pleased.

I dont write many reviews but this product deserved one. Every aspect of this product was well thought out and every concern I had, they obviously thought of and engineered accordingly. The strap and pad fitment from myself, to my wife, and my youngest kid is adjustable enough and comfortable enough for all. We have 3 people that wear glasses and the pressure no longer being on your face, but to your forehead and rear of your head not only makes fitment and long term wear much more comfortable, but those that wear glasses have a much easier time as well. The batteries install quickly with magnets and that was a concern of mine whether the magnets would hold up. Yep, they are strong enough for even active play styles with the headset and will not move, yet it makes a hot swap of batteries quick and easy without even removing the headset. Battery life is essentially endless. With the convient charging station, you always have one charging, the one installed keeps the headset at 100% while playing, and you swap the BoboVR batteries only. It is well made and quality material as well. It install like a factory piece and even looks like it is a factory Meta accessory. Too be honest, Im only frustrated with Meta that their factory solution or an upgrade option isnt like the BoboVR head strap. If youre debating which strap or battery solution, do not second guess this one. Just buy it! Well worth the cost for the solution they offer.

Our family really enjoys using the Quest 2 but the two things make it difficult to use with multiple people is weak battery life and a head strap that is uncomfortable and cumbersome to adjust. Especially when you have adults and kids using the headset. This fixes both those issues. A simple turn of the knob resizes the strap and the battery is always ready to go with one on the charger and one on the headset. Definitely a great upgrade.

This strap is very comfortable, so much better than regular strap as it takes all the pressure from your face / cheekbones, now Im able to have long 3+ hour sessions without any discomfort, love it! The two batteries + charging dock also make it almost unlimited play time! some people complains that the batteries do not output enough power to charge the headset while in use so the headset very slowly gets drained, this is not my experience, maybe they improved it on this Plus model? or maybe the games I play are not so battery intensive? but in my experience the headset slowly charges from batteries during play and once it reaches 100 all you need to do is swap the batteries as they get drained between charging dock and strap. The magnetic mechanism also makes it super easy to swap without even having to take the strap off. The only thing I would improve is adding a USB C port in the strap battery dock to do pass trough data and charging. Not only this would allow to use the Link cable for PCVR without having to mess around withe the headset USB C connector (avoids damaging it from all the plugging / unplugging and tension from the cable), they are very adamant in the instructions on not charging both battery and headset at the same time (plugging a charger to a battery while in the headset dock, a lot of people do this and say it works fine but they have many warnings about this) so if they were to put this USB C connector in the headset dock under the battery you could not use it with a battery at the same time and this would allow people to easily charge their headset when needed while also separately charging the batteries in their dock. Lets say you go on a trip and use it enough to drain both batteries and the headset, now you need to charge all 3 of them so you either charge the batteries and allow them to charge the headset (inefficient and slow) or charge all 3, you can do it but you need to mess around with the headset connector which I prefer not to as to not damage it...

TLDR: I have tried several head straps for the Meta Quest 2, and the comfort of this one really makes you consider how much the headstrap and overall weight distribution affects your experience in VR. When those issues are taken care of, field of view and resolution became minor issues. Weight distribution has been the recurring nightmare for me and its finally over. I had recently purchased a Pimax 8K because I have had many complaints about the Quest 2 and I thought having a higher resolution and field of view would finally satisfy my VR hunger. Those solutions made sense to me considering how much of a snob I am about tech and knowing better headsets exist. In the Quest 2, it felt like I was being squeezed from front to back and I couldnt last for more than thirty minutes before quitting. The Pimax 8K was somehow an even worse experience because of the extreme weight and poor weight distribution. After returning the Pimax and sulking for a bit, I bought this headstrap as my last attempt at using VR for the next few years. If this wasnt going to work, I was done. Im so glad I gave it a chance because I can now go hours in VR because of the comfort AND the extended battery! My husband was also very impressed and is back to using the Quest 2 even more than me. I will be following this company going forward. Perhaps Ill buy some extra batteries too.

Like: Comfort, fit and the extra battery gives long playing time and when I play really long (not often), the battery charging is always ready when the one in use needs to be charged. I use my Quest more because this makes it more comfortable and the battery life. Dislike: The directions to install were not terribly clear and I had to do some searching to find pictures that helped me get it installed. But once that was done, fantastic! They could make the installation directions clearer.

Im really a fan of the swappable magnetically mounted batteries. Good charge time, and just enough weight in the right place to counterbalance the Quest. The overall comfort of the headband is really good, and thankfully it moves the strain off the cheekbones, and onto the headband, which is much nicer for extended sessions. My only issue was in the installation of the center velcro strap. Since I use a cooling faceplate, I had to fish it though that, which was a bit of a pain, because the strap is really short, but I managed to get it on with a bit of fidgeting. For the most part, though, I really love this product!
