Ive been playing psvr since day 1 release. Bought the quest 2. And was immediately unsatisfied with the cheap strap it came with. I fealt ripped off. And the weight on the face was ridiculous. Especially when your used to the psvrs light mask. YouTuber jaybratt sent me this link. He reviewed all mask. And recommended this one. And now my quest feels like its worth the money. I am skin bald and with the grip pads installed. I was able to headbang upside down. Didnt even budge. I can a0end hours in this mask. Very comfortable and NO FACE PRESSURE!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Ok this thing has a lot of upsides to it. The head strap is a big upgrade from what comes standard with the Quest 2 out of the box. It is super comfortable and the weight balance fits more like a hat or helmet rather than squishing directly to your face. It has a dial on the back of the head just below the battery port that makes it so this head strap could fit a head of all sizes. Over all what I am saying is this thing is very comfortable. THEN WE GOTTA TALK ABOUT THE BATTERY...... Holy crap does this make it a game changer! You want to play all day this is the headset! The battery fits on the back of your head and when you notice it is running low just swap on the second and put the original back on the charger trust me you are going to run out of energy before you can outplay the battery life. Just that alone is worth it but I will throw in a extra star for the non slip pads that come with the head strap. I have a bald head so these work great for sweaty games like Contractors, Pistol Whip, and Supernatural.

As soon as I got this thing slipped on my head I could tell I was in for a treat. Normally in vr I always felt my playtime was limited by any head strap I used would still allow for pressure on my face to build to an uncomfortable level. I’ve tried both the elite strap and the frankenquest strap using the deluxe audio strap and both pale in comparison to this strap. My issues with the previous model the m2 pro are also resolved. The plus model the rear arms click into place versus free swinging so the headset stays in place and doesn’t ride up my head. Also I was afraid of getting light leak since this holds in front of my face but that turned out to be a none issue. The only con is the lack of built in audio solution. I resolved this by getting the Soundcore Vr p10

TLDR: I have tried several head straps for the Meta Quest 2, and the comfort of this one really makes you consider how much the headstrap and overall weight distribution affects your experience in VR. When those issues are taken care of, field of view and resolution became minor issues. Weight distribution has been the recurring nightmare for me and its finally over. I had recently purchased a Pimax 8K because I have had many complaints about the Quest 2 and I thought having a higher resolution and field of view would finally satisfy my VR hunger. Those solutions made sense to me considering how much of a snob I am about tech and knowing better headsets exist. In the Quest 2, it felt like I was being squeezed from front to back and I couldnt last for more than thirty minutes before quitting. The Pimax 8K was somehow an even worse experience because of the extreme weight and poor weight distribution. After returning the Pimax and sulking for a bit, I bought this headstrap as my last attempt at using VR for the next few years. If this wasnt going to work, I was done. Im so glad I gave it a chance because I can now go hours in VR because of the comfort AND the extended battery! My husband was also very impressed and is back to using the Quest 2 even more than me. I will be following this company going forward. Perhaps Ill buy some extra batteries too.

I love it it distributes the weight nicely and is very comfortable there are only 2 issues I have or it would have been a 5 star review 1) I might be missing something but there is no way of knowing when the battery dies and the Oculus is using its battery without stopping the game and looking at the power status. 2) I like a snugger fit on my face and I love Passthrough. The problem is the strap will loosen up just enough to cause the Oculus to think you tapped the side and go to passthrough which can be a big problem in some games.

pro: This thing is way better than the Kiwi battery head strap that I got for the same price. Materials might feel just slightly cheaper, but comfort and fit are superior, and hot-swapping battery packs is very satisfying. con: Kind of difficult to attach headset perfectly in the center of the strap.

Adding this battery pack headset has been a huge game changer. So much more comfortable to wear than the head strap that came with the unit. This really helps balance out the weight from front to back which makes it easier on my neck. I love the hot swap battery packs, which really extends my game playing time. Battery packs charge quickly and work well. I have not plugged in my headset directly since receiving this product. I use the battery packs only. Great product which seems well-made.

Bought for my son and he says it’s a win! It balances out weight, he always has a charged battery, and it’s easy right out of the box. Absolutely a great purchase!

The headstrap comes in a deceivingly small and compact package considering how large the headstrap is. The instructions are very clear and most people that have had experience with replacing the Quest’s headstrap can do it without reading the manual. The headstrap is unbelievably comfortable and puts very little pressure on your face as advertised. It supports your forehead, the top of your head, and the back of your head with foam similar or the exact same as what VRCover uses for their face interfaces. The batteries are very effective at balancing the weight of the headset which makes it even more comfortable. Since there is very little weight on your face, fogging doesn’t happen very often. No matter how much I tightened the headstrap, it remained comfortable and enjoyable to wear. In fact, I recommend you tighten it as much as you can because it drastically improves the experience. The headstrap also allowed for the iconic flip-up mechanic that the Vive Cosmos introduced. This headstrap takes everything that we’ve learned about headstraps and combines it all into a singular, beautiful headstrap. All in all, this headstrap is essentially perfect for most use cases. The batteries come within a separate box contained in the box of the headstrap. That box contains the 2 batteries, a charging pad, a stick pad for the charging pad (for if you want to place the charging pad on a wall or on a surface that isn’t flat. It can stick onto seemingly any surface and still hold the weight of the charging pad, the batteries, and more), and 2 USB-C to USB-C cables of different lengths. The charging pad works perfectly and so do the batteries. The batteries are mounted onto the charging pad and headset with a strong magnet which may seem like an issue but I can assure you that it is not. In fact, because it’s mounted using a magnet, it allows for easy battery swapping. When I mounted a battery onto the headset and violently shook my head around, the battery did not budge what-so-ever. I cannot imagine a (humanly possible) head movement that can knock the battery off of the headstrap. All in all, this headstrap is, in my opinion, the best headstrap for the Quest 2 out on the market and by a lot. The packaging is good, it is comfortable, and it is built well. The only 3 things that I can think of which could make this headstrap better is if it came with detachable and flexible off-ear speakers similar to the speakers of the Valve Index, a dial on the side of the headstrap to adjust how much the sides push on your head (with additional cushioning on the sides of the headstrap), and 1 or 2 charger heads for the USB-C cables. I urge you to buy this headstrap. You won’t regret it.
