Bought a used dryer and when I moved the home I was renting had a 4-prong outlet- so I ourchased this and problem solved. Easy!

Perfect solution to our problem where the house that we bought have an older 3-prong laundry outlet. The thing is make sure there is another free power outlet nearby so you can plug the 4th ground cable.

Using this converter, saved a lot of money by not calling in a electrician to modify the outlet.
