Boltsize-It Gauge, Blue

Have you ever gone to the store to pick up those nuts, bolts and washers you need only to find you guessed wrong on the sizes. Well I have. Never do that again and know exactly what you have and/or need with this simple inexpensive tool.

Very useful to keep around the hardware bin. I do prefer a metal thread guage on checking the thread count though. But this is well worth the money.

Bought this to add to the toolbox - nice handy tool.

I didnt find this plastic gauge useful, particularly the thread measure was hard to use accurately.

So far Ive used this several times to determine bolt size and all I can say is it has proven accurate for both SAE and Metric. I am not sure how it is that I havent had one for the last 30 years, but I ordered a second one to always have one handy. Very sturdy, thick, injection molded plastic. Not flimsy, you cant really bend it.

I like this gauge because it is sturdy and easy to use. It saves me a lot of time. It does take a lot of guesswork out of sizing nuts and bolts
