Got this after I messed up and torqued a bolt to the wrong spec because I thought it was a 3/8 when it was really just a 5/16. Stripped the threads in the engine block as a result. Now I have a handy gauge that will hopefully prevent me from making that mistake again! Ive already used it to size some bolts and screws for other projects I am working on. Oh, and that engine block? I got some E-Z Lok inserts to repair those holes. They work way better than Helicoils for that application.

This has way too few sizes considering how large it is. Separate SAE and Metric versions with more complete sizing would be more useful.

I love this thing. It keeps me from guessing sizes. Mine didnt come with the sticker on it like a few reviewers have complained about. The plastic is thick and it seems very sturdy.
