> 3 dayDangerous toy, Epithet for Oliver, death by Toy Oliver ,My 17 year old conure was a happy bird, toys changed regularly, hes dead thanks to this dangerous toy. It looks innocuous and perfect for a bird that loves to chew--but it isnt. A bright orange dowel at the top is rubber, not wood--and of course my bird chewed off large chunks of it, it stuck in his intestines although he managed to throw up a large portion of it. The vet xrayed him and saw a portion not passing through and sympathized but said, not much they could do. They gave him fluids and sent him home to die. So sad, his epithet will read, Death by Toy! Im furious. And this toy should not be sold.
