Boomerang® Tire Tread Armpad™ for Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2010) - Center Console Armrest Cover

The pad looks and feels great in my jeep, but i had to go the the hardware store to get the hardware that was supposed to be included and was forgotten. On top of the 3m doublesided tape, it is supposed to come with a star bit and 4 screws and washers, and i only received the pad itself with the tape already applied.

This fit well and installed like it should. The screw hardware was phillips and not star pattern like OEM. But overall a good add.

This arm rest is a easy install and very soft on the elbow. Perfect for the jeep.

This is a real nice addition for your Jeep Wrangler. I needed two shots to get it installed but all good.

Nice product, does what I want it to do, a little pricey. Im returning it because there was a tear in the rubber that could have been avoided had they shipped it in a box instead of a bag.

Very nice quality, durable and attractive

This cover is top-notch. Install iterally took 2 minutes - simple as taking 4 screws out, slipping it onto the console ad reinstalling 4 screws. The fit is perfect - i think the person complaining that it interfered with opening theconsole may have put it on backwards. I did not even bother to utliize the adhesive, as it fits tightly as it is and does not slide around. It does add about an inch of height and is soft enough to be comfortable - Id say it is almost the firmness of a wrestling mat. Only complaint is that it could cost about half of what it does - but I do like it a lot.

I needed something to protect the console armrest from my dog. She bounces back and forth between the front and back seat when I am wheeling, and was leaving scratches on the console lid. This solved the problem, and it looks good! Easy to install (15 minutes), and so far has stood up well to the dog.

Echo all other positive reviews. Was also happy to discover these are Made in the USA . . . Boomerang is located in Boulder, CO and my armrest shipped directly from them. My back seat has long been removed from my 2008 JK 2-door for my dogs. Added a few more pictures to give a better idea of the fit. My wife has a 2015 Rubicon with a similar item protecting her console but they dont have the luxury of screws for the install. Our earlier JKs do, so use the screws. It completes the install and is easy to do. I had planned to carpet my armrest to give our boys a bit more traction until I read all the great reviews here from other JK-dog owners.

I purchased this arm rest because the stock lid is not comfortable at all when resting my arm. After researching some, this looked like the best design and comfort. After installing the arm rest the comfort feels great against my elbow. My arm is not sliding around either when driving. Installing the arm rest was pretty easy and the directions were clear. Only issue i have with the arm rest is there is a small gap on the side (see picture). It isn’t noticeable when the lid is closed. I tried removing all the screws and re-fitting the arm rest but got the same results every time. May just put some double sided tape in the gap and close it up. But overall very happy with the arm rest. Also the price could be a tad cheaper though.
