> 3 dayCons: • Not easy to clean - the wood is too porous. • Wood is not sanded - sharp pieces are bad for your pets to consume/ingest. Pros: • It’s sturdy when set up. * gentle reminder to fancy rat owners, pine wood (like this platform is made of) and other “soft woods” are toxic to rats because they contain phenols - compounds that are acidic, poisonous, and caustic. Inhaling or ingesting phenol oils in cedar and pine will irritate your pet rats nasal passages, throats and lungs, and can lower immune resistance and cause permanent damage to their respiratory systems and kidneys.

Greater than one weekLooked great, sturdy. Goffins destroyed it in just over an hour.

> 3 dayThis corner perch is great for your birds to relax their feet on. It fits right in the corner of the cage and super easy to put on with one screw.

Greater than one weekLike other reviewers I will not take a chance and use this with my birds! It absolutely smells like it has been treated with a chemical and it is so strong, fumes actually burns my eyes. I do not know what type of wood it is, so I cannot say whether or not it is cedar as some have mentioned.
