> 3 dayYeah, if you can name the commercial, youre probably at least as old as I am. (Irish Spring.) And back then, it was cute to have a girl in the commercial winking-ly hinting that shes going to use the he-man product. Today, maybe not so much, but then women do continue to go after things (initially) marketed to guys, whether its menswear-style shirts and boy shorts or traditionally masculine fragrances. My favorite current perfume, from Tokyo Milk, has woodsy and tobacco notes. Neither I nor my husband (who has to live with me) like cloying, strong floral scents. This Bounce Pure Sport Dryer sheet has, guess what, woodsy and - I think its tobacco flower (but maybe some other subtle floral) and smoky notes. It doesnt smell to high heaven of perfume or laundry soap. Its also subtle enough to just leave a bit of scent on freshly dried laundry. Thats a real change (THANK YOU!) from what Im used to, but also a nice alternative to scent free products that, although best for severe allergy sufferers, leave laundry too often smelling more not dirty than actually clean. But Im still chuckling over the ad copy here. Like washing (my) clothes at Teddy Roosevelts hunting lodge? Somebodys been watching too many of those Old Spice commercials. No feminist rant here. My outlook on gender roles too often mirrors Delta Burkes old line from Designing Women: The man should have to kill the bug! But cmon, P&G, Woodland Retreat Bounce or some such would get my attention a lot faster than something I might assume smells aggressively of mens cologne. In any case, I see this currently out of stock on Amazon and think I may have to scout some stores, just in case this turns out to be a limited edition. Beats the heckoutta the usual scents.

> 3 dayAs a male who does his own wash, I was looking forward to using this. But the more I experience this marketing plyos, the more I become skeptical of what they deliver. Deodorants advertise 48 hrs protection; first, who needs 48 hours? I need only 24. Second, it does not even work. You try new things and get dissaponted. Such intro to confirm that this is yet another instance of something that does not necessarily smell manly nor sporty. Dryer sheet, yes... but what really determines a sheet for men or how does Sports smell? hmmm.... Dont fall for the gimmick.

Greater than one weekTrying to find a fabric softener with a ‘manly’ smell. This was advertised as ‘pure sport’ manly smelling softener sheets. When I got it, it was even more ‘flowery’ smelling than the current fabric softener sheets I use now. So I immediately returned it. I know Bounce fabric softener sheets are terrific for softening and anti-static your clothes. They just don’t do ‘manly’ smells very well. Either that or we have very different ideas of what is a ‘manly’ smell.

06-06-2025Just washed the sweat out, well put the scent back in! Man smell. Dont dry your lady panties in this load, theyll disintegrate from the manly power of these dryer sheets.
