This stand is working perfectly to raise my 13-inch MacBook Pro to a good height for video calls, and can fold down to be put away if I need to clear my desk. Im happy with its sturdiness as well as the stiffness in adjustment as I dont want my laptop to move once Ive put it in place. Im using an external keyboard and trackball - I wouldnt type on the laptop keyboard, as any stand places the keyboard at an incorrect angle for ergonomics. (Youre NOT supposed to have your wrists bent upward, contrary to what people seem to believe is the correct position.)

This is a solid stand - very stable. Easy to adjust and it enables me to get my Mac high enough for great Zoom calls.

The Boyata Laptop Multi-Angle Laptop Stand with Heat-Vent completely met everything I was looking for, and blew away every other stands I had tried. First, It looks as amazing in person as it does in the photos. It is very firm to pry open and adjust, but thats perfect because it stays perfectly still once set up. It is very flexible, and should adjust to just about any angle and height you might want. Its nice to have the heat vent hole. Im using a Microsoft Surface Book with the screen turned backward, and the edge lip holds it perfectly in place. My only small disappointment is that there was some rubbing of the finish during shipping where the arms rubbed against the base plate. Overall, Im very happy with it!

So perfect! Just what I was looking for. It’s so sturdy, once you put your laptop on it you can be sure it’s going to stay exactly where you want it. And for travel it folds nearly flat. The great link color doesn’t hurt either!

Great. Over time (Ive used it for several months now WFH) it is a bit harder to adjust and the top part doesnt want to stay level. But for the price and if you do not need to adjust it often it works well. Wouldnt recommend if needed for constant adjustment with how it wears over time.
