> 24 hourI did a lot of research to find a laptop stand. There are a lot of choices out there. I decided on this one because of price, large opening for cooling the laptop, simple to operate, and of course, good the good reviews. It works very nicely, and I have no problems with it. No complain at all about the stiffness. It suppose to be that way. I fold it down every time after I use my laptop. No problem putting it back the way I need it. For some complains that it is hard to handle, what can I say? Eat more spinach! I definitely recommend this unit.

> 24 hourLove this stand. My first time utilizing a Mac for work and needed a stand. This one is sturdy and holds its shape once formed. Because it’s so sturdy, it takes me a bit of “muscle” to adjust. Give it a try!

> 24 hourI was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this laptop stand. I expected to have to tighten hinges or something like that to keep it in place, but it stays exactly where you put it right out of the box. Nicely engineered, well made, and nice finish to the materials.

> 24 hourMy neck muscles were getting sore from looking down at my laptop. Physical Therapist recommended raising up the screen on my laptop. The BoYata does that but my Gateway Laptop is heavy so to balance it I had to add 2 bookends made from a large Geode rock to counter balance it. If the base was heavier or had more depth behind the screen it would be more stable. Any helpful suggestions to me would be appreciated.

> 24 hourThe Boyata Laptop Holder allows the user to read or watch things on the laptop while standing, which is much better for their back than sitting for long periods of time. It is sturdy and can support both the laptop and the pressure of typing.

> 24 hourI had to replace my existing Rain Design stand because the foam pads fell off. I was looking for something with space under the computer platform portion and this one looked like a great match at a great price. I received it quickly and got it on my desk right away and immediately noticed that it is very well built, the hinges are nice and tight, but still adjustable, it is lightweight and it actually looks nice. The only thing I noticed is that since it is not unibody that thing is not terribly stable. Even as I type this my computer is shaking with each keypress. It is very noticeable but it isnt a major deal breaker for me. Overall I am pleased with this computer stand.
