Producted is excellent, However the shipping was disappointing, One of the containers was opened and the inside seal was missing. Will not use it.

I replaced the charcoal bag with this bag, and put it in between the sponge and the rocks in the filter. These fish are adopted and Im a newbie, so Im not sure thats the right thing to do, but it seems to be working. We rinsed the bag before putting it in our filter as directed and a lot of black coloring was discharged when we did. The coloring left our hands black and stuck to the sides of the bucket. I dont know if it would dissipate if it went into the tank water, but since we didnt know, we ran the filter into a bucket of water until it ran clear then transferred it to the fish tank. So far so good, though. The water has never been this crystal clear before.

Ive used Chemi-pure Elite along with Purigen in my 29gal Biocube. I had switched to another product and quickly had hair algae and cyano. Switched back to Chemi-Pure Elite and Purigen and the cyano is nearly completely gone and the hair algae is receding. You dont get a lot of space in an all-in-one so use it wisely!

I purchase this item for my 50 gallons tank and iwas disappointed with it. Didnt even used at all. It was going to be used in combination with chemi pure blue on my external canister filter. However unlike chemi pure blue, this carbon with iron stained the water so bad. I was not going to take a risk of using it and trash it. I run it under cold water and the more I rinse it the more dark yellowish the water turn. I though it wasnt going to be safe for my cichlids so I did not used it.
