Its antitheft but the knob isnt. I still recommend it but also take the locking knob with you. Im still looking for a replacement knob that this company should offer. I dont want to buy another phone holder just to replace the knob.

bought this specially for my Harley. I have a 2021 FLHXS with aftermarket bars on it so bars are thicker than stock. could not use the insulators in it due to thicker bars but had a piece of insulator tape in the box. put it all together and then installed it on the bike. Was able to fit my i phone 14 pro max in it with ease and with the case on it(otter box-phone is 1/2 inch thick with case on it). still has a little more adjustment if phone is a little thicker. was able to push it just about flush with bars and with all the adjustability it looks nice and out of the way. very sturdy and all aluminum with lots of adjustment

Im an engineer and I have a lot of experience with aluminum machining and vibration dampening as well. Unfortunately, this nice looking Chinese mount has two major problems. First, the mount itself is way too heavy. The aluminum is very thick, which sounds nice, but it adds a lot of weight to your bike in a rather sensitive spot. More importantly, it exacerbates the vibration problem because you are mounting a heavy brick at the end of a long clamp, so this sucker will oscillate like a pendulum. Next, the vibration dampener is a total joke. It is so stiff that it wont dampen anything, especially transverse vibrations like you get on a boxer twin. The Quad Lock design is much better in this regard. That said, they did a good job on the machining and quality aspects. It also holds the phone very securely. But if you care at all about weight or vibrations, this is a terrible mount. I think Im going to go with either a Ram or Quad Lock.

I like the quality of this and Im guessing that the security features might be a plus for some but I can see loosing either or both wrenches and being SOL if I ever needed to remove or adjust it. Otherwise very well made, sturdy, secure, heavy, all metal. A little cumbersome getting the phone in and out but seems like it would hold the phone very securely. No opinion on the shock absorbsion but I dont think its as effective as the not as effective the $25 version by the same manufacturer that I decided to keep and use.
