I was heartbroken that this would not fit my phone in its Otterbox case. The device looks really well-made and sturdy. Unfortunately, that round circle in the center of the holder was a problem. Were that not there, my phone in its case would have fit. But that bump raised my phone up enough that the holders could not safely secure my phone. Id guess its an anti-vibration feature, but that bump made the holder unsuitable for my particular phone. I never got past trying to fit my phone in it so I cant comment on it otherwise. I had been so excited that Id found a really nice, sturdy holder that would fit my phone with its case on. I even considered removing the outer rubber part of my Otter case since thats quick & easy to do, but I think that part is very protective. Ive dropped my phone from a height about 3 ft. a couple of times and it just bounced, undamaged. And, on a motorcycle, I think that protection would be important. I didnt give it 5 stars because I didnt try any aspect of it other than trying to fit my phone into it. And, I was very disappointed that it said it would fit a phone with an Otterbox, when it cant. Otherwise, it looks like a great, sturdy holder.

Well built price little high at 80$ but worth cost for durability.Will not hold armored or encased phone. Holds my moto g fast perfectly. Security key could be a bit longer for better grip.

I was surprised how heavy it is. I guess Im used to plastic. This aluminum mount is very solid. Easy to adjust & set up for my phone. Now its easy one handed mount.

Such a nice quality weighted feel to the aluminum body. Very heavy spring load to help secure the phone. There were a few times I forgot to screw down the back lock and the phone stayed put through 100 miles. The dampening system is great!! I dont see my screen shake or anything during freeway rides.

I like the quality of this and Im guessing that the security features might be a plus for some but I can see loosing either or both wrenches and being SOL if I ever needed to remove or adjust it. Otherwise very well made, sturdy, secure, heavy, all metal. A little cumbersome getting the phone in and out but seems like it would hold the phone very securely. No opinion on the shock absorbsion but I dont think its as effective as the not as effective the $25 version by the same manufacturer that I decided to keep and use.

This seems to be built well, its heavy and not a lot of plastic parts to it. However, I am returning mine because it has a Major flaw! Once you clamp down the Anit-theft double socket arm it cannot be loosened! that is a major flaw if you want to break it down and remove it from you handlebars. If it were not for this flaw, I would have kept it.

This phone holder is so strong and solid it is not even funny! I have a feeling that I could lay my bike down and it get destroyed, but this phone holder would still make it! After having several of these types of phone holders for my bike and the phone coming loose and falling, I can truly appreciate the high quality, craftsmanship, and design of this unit. It took less than three minutes to adjust it to my big phone. It is equipped with an antitheft double socket arm that will not allow some would-be thief to take your phone holder off of your bike or whatever else you have it mounted to. The silicon that protects your phone from all sides is shockproof and soft as it is gripping your phone. The back is equipped with a vibration dampener, which limits the vibration that your phone receives on your rides. The aluminum alloy is Air Force strength, the telescopic poles are thick and made of stainless steel, and the double sockets are also made of the reinforced aluminum alloy. The handle bar base fits all handle bar types because of the rubber inserts that they give you. There is an additional ball that can fit onto your rear view mirror for you to attach it a different way. You can use this phone holder on a bicycle, motorcycle, ATV, scooter, or any place else that you could think of. The phone holder can be adjusted to any angle to suit you as you are riding. I am very impressed, very happy, and very glad that I got it. I can strongly recommend this holder!

What can I say except that its all that and a bag of chips! Im going to be using it between a mountain and a Easy Racer recumbent bike, two very different machines and yet I can position it utterly optionally on both. The design and build I cannot find a single flaw ( Im a Machinist and in college I studied Industrial Design). Its expensive but in the past 5 years Ive gone through a number of phone mount that have failed in a variety of ways including damaging the case of the phone, dropping it at high speed while mountain biking or just fell apart from shoddy build. I dont see any of this happening with this one.

It was super easy to install. The quality of this mount is amazing! I use it every time I ride my motorcycle. I was impressed with this mount.
