The color of the light is definitely whiter than the non-led equivalent. I don’t mind them if I’m replacing an entire set of incandescent bulbs with all-LED, but they aren’t a good match for replacing just burnt out incandescent bulbs (mixing LEDs with incandescents in the same strand).

Have had the same manufacture of these lights in glass, they are a great product but would have a tendency to break easily. Now they are just about unbreakable

I love my outdoor light string for when I put the dog out late at night but I was thinking that it was running my electric bill a little higher than I wanted so I ordered the LED lights to replace the original lights. I just put them in the string a week or so ago. I am hoping that these will bring down my electric bill a bit. I find that these LED bulbs are a little brighter than the original but I really dont mind. I have thought about purchasing an outdoor dimmer to bring the brightness down a bit. So far I have not found a dimmer with good ratings yet.
