Brighton Beach Memoirs [DVD] [1986] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]

Just as I remembered it when it first came out. Many laughs and many truly great lessons in this Neil Simon masterpiece. If I had just a few movies this would be one of them.

Life is definitely never dull with seven people living under the same roof Have enjoyed this movie for years watching it on TV whenever it was on... but has not been on TV for a long time now so was time to buy the DVD. Found no problems with the DVD at all, good quality for older film redone in Anamorphic Widescreen to fill the widescreen TV nicely without zooming in

One of my all time favorites. I used to watch it all the time when my kids were little. Now they watch it often.

Happy I found this 80s movie. One of my favorite Simon movies.

This without a doubt is Neil Simons best work ever. Only people in their 70s can appreciate the the feel and the way life was back before World War II. Why Blythe Danner didnt win an academy award for her performance I can only say their is no justice. The boy that played Eugene is exactly like young boys were in those days... Movies like this would not entertain young people today. They are too restless, Too technology possessed, too into themselves to care about anybody else. Parents today have no control over their children, its the children controlling the parents

Hey there is nothing like a good Eugene Morris Jerome movie that will have you in tears laughing. The relationship between Jonathan Silverman and his mother in the movie, Blythe Danner is truly fantastic.

This is one of my favorite feel-good films with nostalgic quips of ethnic New York families. Silvermans teenager besotted with the female form is so typical of male puberty and adds another hilarious touch to the already saturated comedy. This film is a prize!

Good family movie. This is a great DVD set to add to my collection. Good quality and fast delivery.

Love the work of Neil Simon. Saw this movie on cable a couple years back and remembered it so fondly. It is as sweet as I remembered. Have loaned it to friends and they are now in pursuit of Simons work.
