Such a great movie...it is about a Jewish family in New York, in the late 1930s, and it is so poignant and heartwarming and funny....there are 2 teenaged sons coming of age so there is language and sexual references between the brothers, but because of the context, within the story, I did not find it offensive as I generally would... I had seen it years ago, and it was a delight to see it again...

I used to watch this with my mom as a kid. Gave you some insight of what the old days living in to 1900’s was.

Sorry, I have not much more to say. Great Neil Simon play and funny movie. A favorite when I was a teen and my kids enjoyed it too.

Its an awesome movie, especially for anyone that knows the area. The plot was good and it was basically an enjoyable movie.

One of the best movies I have ever purchased. Jonathan Silverman shines; Judith Ivey is wonderful as his squawking aunt. She is a great actress in any movie she has ever been in ~ and her performance in Brighton Beach Memoirs is outstanding. You can really understand her brother-in-law wanting her out of the house. I never tire of watching this one.

Growing up in Brooklyn in the 1930s. A teenaged boys anxiety to get older makes a great story. Comedy, and touching moments make this a good one. Great movie by Neil Simon.

Will be most appreciated by Boomers but I found it is nostalgic, heartwarming and funny. I would definitely recommend.

Not the best play/movie by Neil Simon.... or of this genre... I expected something like Radio Days by Woody Allen and I got Schmaltz Stories ... Not bad.. entertaining...
