> 3 dayI got these for tall sideboard lamps. I wanted soft lighting and thats exactly what I got. I chose warm light as apposed to the blue-white that is typical of led bulbs. So far I am very satisfied.

> 3 dayThese Brothlaw 5W LED bulbs can be used in several places besides a fridge and their cost could be easily recoup by the energy savings they provide. The regular incandescent bulb wastes energy. In the fridge it waste energy in two ways...when the bulb goes on and when the heat starts warming the fridge causing the compressor and fan to run longer. In the house lamps and fixtures by raising temperature in the summer. A 40W incandescent bulb consumes 40 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity every 1,000 hours and the 5W Brothlaw LED bulb consumes only 5 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity every 1,000 hours. The national average cost per kWh is 14.4 cents per kWh and in New York, where I reside is around around 23 cents and this month was 30 cents. In the summer it could go beyond 50 cents. Just going with the average here, it costs me $9.20 every 1,000 hours to run each of those little incandescent bulbs and just $1.15 (8x less) to run each 5W Brothlaw LED bulb. It might not be much if you have one of two, but when they are found in lamps, cabinets, recessed fixtures, etc.. it adds up quickly. These Brothlaw 5W LED bulbs are brighter than the 40W they replaced and also made the fridge look better.

> 3 dayThese bulbs are small but give off equivalent light when compared to larger bulbs of equal wattage. If you have a covered lamp, and don’t need to show off your bulb, these are great. I love that the light is bright as soon as I turn it on, my old bulb would light dim and take several minutes to get bright. I want to go around the house and change all my CFL lights to these but I’m not going to be wasteful. If you need new bulbs, get these. Eight bulbs for $16.99 is a great value especially if they last the advertised 25000 hours. That’s almost 3 years, if you leave the light on 24/7!

> 3 dayThese are perfect for tiny lights and even outdoor sockets which are shielded from weather. Actually using one now on an outdoor to replace an old incandescent. Works great and provides good light at night. Recommended!

> 3 dayProduct: LED Refrigerator Light Bulb, 40 Watt Equivalent Waterproof Freezer Light Bulb, 120V E26 Daylight White 5W 5000K 550 Lumen, A15 Appliance Fridge Light Bulbs, 2 Pack I had older refrigerator bulbs in my fridge that tended to cast shadows, especially on the lower shelves. I decided to try LED bulbs to fix that problem. These bulbs did the trick. They fit perfectly and I can see what’s in the fridge better now, but the lighting isn’t too harsh, like I’ve seen in some fridges that used LED lighting. The harsh lighting I’ve seen in other places is what made me hesitate with changing them over. Maybe it’s because these are labeled as “daylight white”. Whatever the reason, I’m happy. These fit perfectly. I also have the advantage of better energy consumption with these bulbs, although my fridge door isn’t opened that much. I also don’t expect to have to replace these anytime soon. That is a plus since getting to the bulbs is a bit of a nail biter. I always feel I might break the plastic shield over the bulbs the way it is set up in my fridge. Good bulbs at a good price. I haven’t had any problems with them yet.

> 3 dayI’m glad I found these smallish bulbs. My old ones stuck out from the lamps in my hallway; these don’t, and give out nice gentle light. I also replaced my bedside reading lamp with one of these; plenty of light to read by. This is my second order.
