Greater than one weekUsed this for refinishing a plow piston cylinder. A lot of people complaining about the price but this is much cheaper than any other available option, whether sending out to get machined or buying and actual hone setup for at home.

> 3 dayThis is a great upgrade over regular 3 blade hones, especially for those that dont have much experience with regular hones. This hone is very easy to use and works very well, make sure you use a good lubricant while you hone, 10w30 oil is what I used. The one major downside to this and any other ball hone, over a regular hone, is that you can only use this hone for the specific size cylinders. Where 3 blade hones can be used for several different size cylinder bores. Other than that I would highly recommend this hone, it worked flawlessly for me.

Greater than one weekHoned a Golfcart cylinder in no time, removed fine scratches and ridge at top of cylinder in under 5 minutes. Pricey but cheaper than a machine shop and frankly equal results for all I needed.

> 3 dayTried using a hone on a motorcycle bore but it was going to be slow going. Used the Flexhone and it did a beautiful job of crosshatching the glaze. Had to be careful as it was a bit aggressive but did the job so quickly it was a real pleasure to use.

Greater than one weekI have six of these now, and I buy a new one if I need a size I dont have. They work perfectly to take the glaze off of a motorcycle cylinder before installing a new piston and/or rings. They are sturdy, and last a very long time if treated well. Pro Tip: Dip them in transmission fluid before honing.

> 3 dayThis is an easy way to remove a small amount of metal from cylinders. It creates a smooth surface. I would recommend this item to others who wish to enlarge the inside of a cylinder.
