> 24 hourThe cord is very stiff and makes expanding it difficult. Beyond that, it does what I expect.

> 24 hour...if you like to use an HT a lot in your vehicle. This is a simple design, a dummy battery with a 12V plug coming from it to power the radio from the cigarette plug. It is easy to swap out the battery and get on vehicle power. If you want to use the BTech 6X2 as a mobile, this is a must-have. It works well and its very reasonably priced. Another excellent product from BTech!

> 24 hourThis is the ONLY way to power the BTECH DMR 6X2 from an external DC source. Whether using this radio in a home station or mobile, it would be nice to power the radio from a DC source and save the battery for portable operation. The attached belt clip makes it easy to attach it onto something to hold it place while in use. Using a speaker/mike or microphone boom headset to operate the radio as a stationary/mobile station is very convenient. The coil cord on the battery eliminator is easily stretched to plug it into an auto accessory jack or home DC supply with a socket installed.

> 24 hourI am currently using this item in my home with a 12 power supply. The DMR 6X2 is working perfectly with it and I am not discharging the batteries that came with the radio.

> 24 hourthe Battery last about 2 Days on continues operation (listening about 90%). The mic make it easy to take the radio around and still copy whats going on the Repeater. 73s
